I have been prescribed opana 40mg for almost two yrs. I really wanted to be optimistic about the new formula but it does not work! Very little to no pain relief from these plastic pills! Now I'm spending sooo much time online looking for an alternative, but not having much luck. Nothing out there equivalent? How could Endo turn a great med into the worst?? I understand the need to make safer, but this is crazy...extreme! Why make them at all? Can anyone suggest a medication that I can switch to?? ## Have you talked to your doctor? Specifically related to the central nervous system: "Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients. were can i get my opana scripts filled in the pittsburgh area ## The best place that seems to have a consistent supply of RX pain meds in Pgh is Asti's in the Sourh Hills. They never seem to give me a problem and always have stock of everything. Bonus is the pharmacist (Dan) is very friendly and never gives me a hard time ## You should probably check the place that Congo has mentioned. Otherwise, it is probably just a matter of time, before most pharmacies have them in stock, again. Opana was recently reformulated, so there was a slight shortage, due to the delay in production. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I hav ben going to a pain clinic for quiet some time and have tried so many combinations of pain meds tht I'm about to give up. I've had 2 back surgeries and need another one but I refuse. Looking for a Pain Doctor in North Carolina to prescribe me my medicine Opanas er so I can continue to support my family. I broke my neck in 2010. Due to Hospital not doing xray because they assumed that I was there for pain medicine (ironic, huh) but went 3 times in a 6 week period. Finally my wife took me to another hospital and lied, told them I had been in an accident. Immediately sponsored MRI. I was flown to CMC for immediate operation. Has anyone else found that the "New" Opanas are not as effective as the old ones for pain control? I have post herpetic trigeminal neuralgia. I am hoping that the generics will be like the old ones. This is crazy. ## Unfortunately yes, there have been quite a few people complaining about the reformulated ones, even though they are new. The problems seem to range from their causing odd side effects, to their not being as effective, as you've experienced. Learn more about the Opana details here. Does anyone know where to get the old 40mg opanas in Poughkeepsie ny or even dutchess county?I heard the new ones are horrible and don't want to b left n pain.please help me! ## I really doubt you are going to have much luck finding them, places were running out and unable to fill prescriptions, until the newly formulated product was out on the market. If the new ones aren't working for you, then you may want to consult your doctor about trying a different medication. Are there any other questions or comments?

ive been taking ocxy for bout four or five years now ive stopped cold turkey and went back but now they got these opanas and my aunt just got a script for real oc 40 i thought that they were off the market just like abgs does any body remeber those just kienthe real thing but i need some subs like asap can any one help me let me know i can also get what you need ## Purdue has stopped manufacturing the original formulation, with the OC marking, but places that still have it in stock are able to dispense it, until their supply is exhausted. Does anyone know of pain clinics that take out of state patients? Also looking to get put on opanas, or something like that. Been on loratab 1000's for 15 years and they don't do the job anymore.
