One Day Period In Micropil

Hi.. I started to have irregular periods after gaining weight.. (20kg) I wanted to try micropil now. Is it ok? I only have period with the pattern of every 2months and other in the next month. Ntry ko na po mag pills before which made my menstruation 3 days from Dati 1 week. But I stop po kasi lage Ako ng bebleed pag nag do kme ng hubby ko. Can someone help me ## You should take the medication your doctor has instructed you to do so. How much weight have you gained? Hello! Micropil has 21 tablets, right? So it means there's 1 week pill-free. Is it safe to be in contact during that free week? Thanks. Newbie here. ## hi, as far as i know if you are using micropil, the 1 week pill-free is the time you will have your menstrual period. So, i mean you don't want to have contact if you have your period. hope this will help. ## There is no harm in having intercourse during your period, other than a possible mess. As long as you have been taking it as instructed, there should not be any risk of pregnancy, according the NIH. Side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been taking these for 3 years but then stopped for 1 week. Then after i started again and took 21 pills the following week but now 3 days later I am having strange symptoms. Im taking micropill 7 days before may period. Pero ngayon wala pa din menstration ko. I have a friend whose been using micropil for almost 5 years already. They decided (as a couple) to stop taking it (Just this month) and still waiting for her period to come. Is there a possibility that her period will get delay, like for how long? ## I've been taking micropil for over a year now. The side effects are really visible to me like i am suffering intense headache almost everyday and i am obviously gaining weight. My hubby noticed it so he told me to quit taking the pills so that's what i did. I already took 5 out of 21 tablets i discontinued using the pill. After 3 days without taking the pill i started bleeding for 5 days now... Can i start micropil when i stop taking althea? I'm supposed to start new pack of althea on wednesday. ## Hi, Miedez! How are you? Yes, you can do that and just do a clean switch from one to the other, it will still retain your protection against pregnancy. But you should double check with your doctor, before switching to make sure that it is safe for you to do so. I'm just a little confused here. I just switch from Trust Pill to Micropil. The instructions with Micropil says to start taking it on the 5th day of your menstruation, but the thing is my period only lasts for 3 days (I have 28 days cycle). So my period started on a Feb. 7 (Saturday) and ended on Feb. 9 (Monday) and started taking the pill on Feb 11 (Wednesday) which is day 5 from my period. Did took the pills correctly? PS: MY first period on the Micropil was only for 2 days and just very very minimal blood flow occurred. I'm used to having average amount of bloodflow from before. Is this normal? ## Hi! Hi!i've been using althea for 3 months now and i'd like to switch to micropil.supposedly,i should start with a new pack of althea today but on the instructions for micropil,i need to take it on day5 of my menstrual period counting the 1st day of mense as day1 but day5 will be tomorrow.if i'll take it tomorrow i'll miss 1 pill.so should i take the 1st tablet of micropil today or tomorrow which is day5?another question please,is it safe to have intercourse on the 1st week from switching pill from althea to micropil?tnx much! ## Im using daphne pills and i want to change to micropil. Hello. I just want to ask if it is normal to feel pain in the breast while using micropil plus? And also, as i start using this pill, I noticed that my periods became irregular. I will have heavy periods during the first 2 days then it will stop after that, few days later I will have my period again little by little. This that normal? Thank you.

I used trust pills more than 3 years ago and now i already stopped using it. i had been using micropil for 3 month. i missed the last 2 pill then i had my period. i decided to take on my usually schedule,which is tuesday. however, i had contact on sunday 2 days before the tuesday. can i get pregnant? ## I missed 2pills, day 9 and 10 but took the three tabs on day 11 (2 tabs immediately and 1 at night as my normal sched) .
