need specifics on docs who prescribe oxycontin in Cleveland, oh area ## There are no listings of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that can be searched for you. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis for the management of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, then the easiest thing to do would be to ask them to refer you to someone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Most do but few do it illegally and also won't prescribe it...

I have been on Adderall several years. I moved from IND to Lima Ohio and have not had much luck finding it. ## I'm sorry, but how have you been looking for it? If you're calling doctors and asking if they'll prescribe it, you could be creating your own problem. Most doctors and their staff are taught to view that as drug seeking behavior. You need to set up an appointment with a new doctor first, then just make sure that they receive a full copy of your current medical records, including your current prescription history. Learn more Adderall details here. Once you get in the door for an appointment, then you can discuss the prescription you need. ## I am an adult female (age 69) who has ADD. My husband has a bad back (bull stepped on him in high school) he's 37 now, and needs surgery. We cannot do that right now, so he's been on oxycodone 30mg, but we've moved 16 hours away from old dr. Need new dr in Ohio preferably near Canton, but at least somewhere near. Can anyone please help us find a Dr. who prescribes that. We've been looking, & not having any luck. Any advise would be great!! ## The best piece of advice I can give you is to get him an appointment to see a new doctor, but don't ask ahead of time if they will prescribe any particular medication. When you do that, doctors view it as being drug seeking behavior and will usually just say that they don't prescribe, don't treat such things or whatever excuse they can come up with to not tak...

Are there any Doctors in Columbus, OH that Prescribe Naltrexone for the Sinclair Method? ## Check the site cthreefoundation. Large support there including doctors who have prescribed in many locations in the US. Cthree is a huge proponent of The Sinclair Method (TSM). He has proven over many years of studies using Naltrexone and continuing to drink, slowly diminishes the pathway of the learned behavior of alcohol abuse. ## Sinclairmethod.org has providers in Ohio and in other states as well. The medication works.

Hello. I'm in severe pain. Need doctors from Youngstown Ohio Canton Akron + Cleveland + western Pa. My doctor got arrested now I'm left with no doctor. Anyone know where I could go? Please let me know. Thank you. ## May I ask the name of the Dr you were seeing? I don't think I'm supposed to drop names here but I'd be happy to give you names of those located here. You can very likely do a Google search for pain managers in the area. Why not have your pcp refer you somewhere? You're going to need some kind of referral there's no question of that. They don't make appointments for new patients over the phone without a faxed referral and very likely will request the records come from the referring Dr. Why? They don't trust that the patient hasn't made ...

Need doc in dayton ohio who prescribe methadone ## Hello, Charles! How are you? If you're looking for addiction treatment, a regular doctor is not allowed to prescribe it to you for that, according to the current treatment laws. They can only prescribe it for pain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you're looking for it for pain treatment, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

I suffer from severe fibromyalgia for years now. It is documented and has been acknowledged by other Drs. I have recently relocated to Youngstown Ohio. I recently visited a doctor to become a patient for my pain and other unrelated issues- high blood pressure, etc. The doctor pretty much asked me to leave the office and refused to even consider treating my other nonpain issues AND told me that no other Dr. would bother to see me either. My only recourse for ANY medical treatment would be to visit a hospital-apparently here I am untouchable. I cannot begin to believe that this is the norm here. Any help, suggestions, clinics, etc is greatly appreciated. I am suffering daily and need someone to help. ## What was his reasoning for dismissing you as a patient and saying no other doctor woul...

I had a serious industrial accident in 2001 that left me with broken vertebrae in my lower spine, and have been on and off of meds ever since. i now have herniations at L4 L5/ L5s1 and the pain is unbearable. I have been med free for almost 2 yrs but cant deal w it anymore. I am located in youngstown ohio.
