My vet gave them to my 140 lb dog for pain in his joints. But it is a white elongated pill with a P on the left half and 100 on the right. He is supposed to take 1-1/2 every 12 hours as needed for pain. The vet has to check his liver every few months to be sure it isn’t causing any liver problems. ## I'm not sure but I think it may be carprofen (also known as Rimadyl). It is a NSAID commonly prescribed for veterinary use. ## It's actually prednisone. Could be an animal medication. The pills are oblong, yellow and scored with one side imprinted 1 - 7 and the other side imprinted P-V. Could you please tell me what they are before I dispose of them? May have been for my Bishon. ## Yes, it contains 100mgs of Cefpodoxil which is an an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections in dogs. I found two capsule shaped solid white pills marked with S, then a vertical scoring line, then ET on the one side and on the reverse - marked 100. Please can someone identify. The medication belongs to a schizophrenic. Many thanks. ## I'm not finding a listing for these in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. Where they found in the U.S. or elsewhere? Does anyone else recognize these tablets? ## Invega (palperidone) sounds similar to what your talking about. I get it for schizophrenia. I'm not sure what they say or if it has a score.

I'm trying to identify a small oblong shaped pill with 100 on one side and CFZ on the other side. I am diabetic and get it at Walgreens in Ft Wayne, Indiana. old man mixed up his pills and prescriptions and i don't know what is what! this is last one to identify. ## There is a KOS 1000 pill that I know of but it is more of a white to off-white color. Not sure exactly how orange the pill which you are describing is. An image of the one I'm talking about can be viewed here. If you have what I'm describing then it is Niaspan 1000 mg, which contains the active ingredient Niacin a.k.a. Vitamin B3. I found a bright pink oblong pill with #324 on one side. ANY IDEAS? ## This tablet is manufactured by Chain Drug Marketing Associates and they list it as containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine; it is sold under the name Qc Complete Allergy Medication, a generic, or store brand of Benadryl. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. ## sounds similiar to darvocet n-100with is like a glorified tylenol. it is considered a low dose narc. ## A darker pink oblong pill with 324 on it is QC Complete Allergy Medicine 25 mg. Pill is oblong and white, says Pfizer and one side, and the other side the number 100 in inscribe above the number 150 ## Let me make sure I'm understanding correctly, the marking is Pfizer on one side with 150 over 100 on the other? It is white, oblong and has M6 on 1 side and blank on the other ## Hi Andy, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm currently finding is a white "round" pill marked with M6 on one side and blank on the other. This particular tablet is identified as Myambutol (100mg), and is said to be manufactured by a company called Stat Trade Inc. Myambutol (Ethambutol) is a drug indicated for the treatment of tuberculosis. I know you mentioned that your pill was oblong-shaped as opposed to round, but please post back if this sounds like it could be a viable match. I hope this helps!

I have since found out that that is a 5114 on the pink oblong pill and it is Darvocet-N 100. Thank you for any help you were trying to give me.!! ## That is correct, it contains 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. I am glad you discovered what it was, however, it is very important to inform you that these tablets have been pulled from the market by the FDA. Propoxyphene has been found to be cardiotoxic. In this instance, you should make certain that this pill is properly disposed of. Are there any comments or questions?
