Novelon 21 Days

Hi. I am 31 and I have PCOS in my left ovaries only. I had been taking novelon for 21 days and my course is now completed (5 days back) but I still didn't get my period. How many days do I need to wait for my periods? ## I was also taking novelon and when I stopped I got my period, but this month I have not had my period. Is there any chance that I may be pregnant? I’m worried as I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 18 months.

There's always a chance of getting pregnant, regardless of what form of prevention you use. The only 100% full proof method of preventing pregnancy is abstinence. When did you start taking it? Was it the first day of your menstrual cycle? If so, you should have been protected immediately and you may be skipping just because your body is adjusting to the hormones in this medication. However, if you started taking it at any other time, such as when you weren't on your period, then it would have been necessary to use protection for the first 7 days to prevent pregnancy, because it takes that long for them to reach their full effectiveness in your ...

i had a cyst in my right ovary doctor prescribed me to take novelon for 3 month 21 tablets from the fifth day of my period.i completef one month course and in next month i missed 4 days in taking the tablets on fifth day when i take the medicine my period started again.so i stopprd my tablets again now what do i do ## Continue taking them, as prescribed by our doctor, unless they instruct otherwise. There is no need to stop, just because you had some bleeding from missing several tablets, that is completely normal. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, headache, dizziness and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I missed novelon tab one day and the next day morning I take d medicine.Is there any chance for pregnancy?

From one month my period is going on and,my doctor gives me this novelon tablet for 21 days.But is it right to take because when I read ,it is a contraceptive pill.Then why it is prescribed by doctor to me. ## Novelon contains hormones which can help balance yours out to stop the bleeding, which is most commonly caused by a hormonal imbalance. You can take them, even if you are not married and actively engaging in intercourse. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, Actually I have cyst(3.5cm) in right ovary, doctor told me to use Novelon tablets for 21days and i used 21 days and it got over on 4days(2nd April) back still i have not got my periods please tell is there any chances of pregnancy after taking this novelon am trying for conceive from past two years, but my result is always negative and my periods are very regular. sir i went for scan yesterday and got the following report mildly bulky uterus with fibriod right ovary cysts internal echoes-suggestive of ? endometriotic cyst ( 5.3 x 3.4 cms, shows cysts with internal echoes measuring 3.7 x 3.0 cms and 1.8 x 1.9 cms. left ovary shows cysts measuring 2.5 x 1.9 cms and 11x9 mm I have not got periods for 4 months and i am 48. dr, has advised me Meprate 10 mg for 2 days and novelon 10. d x 21 for 3 months please suggest me.

Missed novelon pill yesterday and menstruation started again ## Hello there! Hi, I have been taking novelon 21 days pill for the past 6 months but last month I missed 3 pills in a row. I had periods 3 days later and started taking a new pack on 4th day of my periods. My husband and I had an unprotected sex 2 days after taking the first pill. Could I get pregnant? Please help. I'm really worried. I'm just 21 and I don't want to get pregnant so early.

I am having unprotected sex but i dont want pregnancy. Can i take the Novelon? and when? Pls guide me.
