Norco 5325

I take Norco 10 / 325 and they aren't doing anything. I think I was even having withdrawals sneezing diarrhea and come to find out CVS carries Lupin. At first I thought I was building up a tolerance to the pain medication but it was like overnight. This can be traced back to when I got the medication from CVS from the manufacturer Lupin. I have about a 30 day supply left and can't get anymore but I definitely will not be going back there. I will be calling pharmacies to see who does not carry Lupin. ## Omg im so glad im not alone on the pupil brand. I literally hurt all over and they wear off in about 2 hours. I got this as a refill. Does nothing for the pain from the surgery that i had. The one i had before which was manufactured by Watson i could take one of and be able to not be in pain. With this one i can take 2 as it states on the bottle and it does nothing and i am still in pain. Same script same instructions the only difference is manufacture and this one does nothing for my pain. Care to tell me why? ## Hello, Lori! How are you doing? Sorry that you're in pain. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one manufacturer to another and you may be sensitive to such changes. The best thing to do, if you can, is to ask your doctor if they can prescribe it as the brand being medically necessary. Is there anything else I can help with?

Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin. The V stands for Vintage Pharmaceuticals, they were purchased by Qualitest several years ago and there are many pills with the V logo that don't contain narcotics of any type. Additionally, Norco is just a name brand for a certain combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone….while it was originally ones that just contained 325mgs of Acetaminophen, with several doses of the Hydrocodone, since it is available as a generic now, they are pretty much all just us...

I want to reduce my use of 5325 Norco. I have a new hip replacement and not in that much pain. What do you suggest? ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. If you haven't been taking them for too long, this process should be much easier than the vast majority of withdrawals people go through from taking them for years on end. What color are my prescription pills narco 5/325 ## I have been taking Norco for about 6 years ive recently been getting yellow tablets ibstead of the regular white. Ive noticed they are not as effective as tge white. ## What are the markings on them? Okay so I am used to taking Norco 10/325. But now I only have Norco 5/325. Can I take more because I am used to a higher dose? ## Have you consulted your doctor? You really shouldn't double up, without their approval. You would be getting twice the amount of Acetaminophen as usual and that may cause problems, with certain health conditions and other medications. Why was your dosage changed? ## I don’t know. I go to a RA doc about 225 miles round trip from my home and the nurse always puts my scripts in an envelope and seals it. I didn’t open it until I took it to my pharmacy and when my husband picked them up is when I caught the error! It was a different color, shape and lower mg. I have had severe RA for 40 yrs.

I take one norco 5 325 every 4-6 but then after the second pill I feel like I have a bladder infection starting and my ovaries hurt is this caused by the Norco. if I don't take a Norco the next day it goes away. But I need pain medications so should I go back to my doctors and change my medication? ## No, that's not a typical side effect of this narcotic and I've not heard it mentioned by anyone else. With the hurting ovaries, I have to wonder if your hormones are out of whack and it is possible that the medication may be having some effect on them. Have you consulted your doctor? How old are you? If you're over 35, there's a chance that you're in perimenopause and having anovulatory cycles, that can cause these types of symptoms, as well.

All I need to know is how many norco 5's equal one 25mg fentanyl patch? I usually use fentanyl patches for my severe sciatica pain but I ran out and missed my regularly scheduled appt due to my husband having surgery. I do have a new appt but not for a week and I have norco 5's of mine I can take til then but I need to know how many will be close to the pain control I get from the patch. ## The Fentanyl is much, much stronger, so you aren't actually going to be able to take an equivalent dose of the Norco, especially since it also contains Acetaminophen. Is Lortab the brand name for Hydrocodone 7.5/325? Or is it Norco, Vicodin, or what? ## The one with 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen would be a generic for Norco, it's the only name brand that has that strength available.
