Finished starter pack. Never felt better- worse. More anxiety, less sleep, and awful nightmares. Took me off of it and withdraws were awful. Horrible nightmares, and hot and cold sweats. Awful drug for me. Getting back on rimeron- just have to deal with some weight gain. It works well for me. Everyone is different. Just be careful weaning off the Viibryd. ## I realize it can be somewhat different for everyone, but I get the sense that all these medications are addicting enough to induce some epic withdrawal symptoms once your body gets used to having them and then suddenly not having them. Are you finding that Remeron (mirtazapine) is any better than Viibryd when it comes down to withdrawals?

I thought I was losing my mind until I read the posts about the side effects. I've been on 40 mg Viibryd for at least 6 months and it WAS working for anxiety and depression but it seems to have stopped working as well. The side effects of night sweats, sleep paralysis, and especially the 'brain zaps'...that one really knocked me for a loop b/c I thought I was losing it. I haven't really slept well for months b/c of the side effects but am going to talk to my Doctor now. How bad are the withdrawal symptoms? Worse than the side effects are currently? ## Many of those who have complained about the withdrawal symptoms list them as being very similar to the side effects you've mentioned.
