Hi. I am currently taking Apocard (flecaïnide) 100 mg and Sotalol 240 mg together for eight years without any problems. My former cardiologist subscribed this combination for me. My current (but will go for a second-opinion) says 'it can be dangerous in some people and cause dangerous palps'. But. I had to try without the apocard: worse, other betablocker (nebivolol 5 mg): worse, lower dose of sotalol (160 mg): worse. I get bouts of very strong palps and a faster heartrate, about 140 when walking, I suspect SVT. Never caught on tape, even after 10 years of suffering. My question: are there any people online who take both meds for a longer period? I would like to change thoughts. Thanks!

And I would say if its other side effects (such as loose bowel movements) are contradicting to your goal and its intended purpose, then you may want to ask your doctor or a registered dietician/nutritionist about other alternative ways to put on weight. In my understanding, weight gain/loss is simply a matter of calories consumed vs calories burned throughout the day. So making adjustments to your eating...
