I just switched to CVS from Walgreens as of Monday 8/23/17. I was getting the Oblong Shaped White pills from Walgreens but today I picked up round shaped small white pills from CVS. I of course did some research and came across this forum and I'm nervous. I literally just swallowed my 1st one. I'll post my results soon. ## There shouldn't be anything to worry about, they are likely just made by a different manufacturer. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. What are the markings on them? If you can post back with this information, I will gladly research them for you.

I have psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. I've always been prescribed Percocet 10/325 for my pain. This morning my pharmacy told me that the price has increased by $2.00 by my insurance company (UHC) has not yet adjusted their coverage price. Therefor my prescription for 120 Percocets (or generic) will be $240. I find this to be unbelievably irresponsible of you and your associate manufacturers. I'm on SS and do not have Medicare -- how am I supposed to afford 1 prescription that costs me $240? I'm just one of the millions of peoples that are prescribed this drug, especially Seniors. What are you thinking? What can I do? What will you do for me? ## This site has nothing to do with the pricing of medication. You ne...

When I filled my RX at the first of Jan, the pharmacist warned me it was a different manufacturer so it would look different. I immediately saw a difference. It was not combating my pain, and I was having severe headaches. I was suspicious of the pharmacist, at first, because this medication has been in short supply (at least in this area), and was forced to go to a Walgreens across town, where I was treated like a criminal, despite the fact my regular Walgreens had called. I looked it up in my pill book, however, and was comforted to discover it was the correct pill. All month I have been suffering with the pain, headaches, and nerve pain, as well as nausea, gastrointestinal issues, and a feeling of restlessness. It is time for a new monthly supply, so I called CVS Pharmacy and they do...

Well once again I've been duped because Walmart wants to buy the cheapest non-effective brands possible for people who actually have pain. These RP brand generic percocets are absolutely useless but as long as the maker and the distributor are making money that's all that matters...... Has anyone else had a similar experience with these? ## I have been taking the RP brand and something is very wrong. They are coming out in my stools in a perfectly round pill shape, that is somewhat like a soft plastic. I'm contacting the Fda and the company and pharmacy. ## Is a small white round pill marked with RP 5, a regular release percocet or is it oxycontin? Please let me know. ## My pharmacy switched and the new RP doesn't work for me. I'm in Niagara Falls NY. Please help. Ri...

I was given percocet labeled 5-325 TABMCK by my Dr and now he gave me 7.5-325 TBWAT. I know what the numbers are, but can anyone tell me what the letters stand for? thanks ## those numbers on the pill are the makers there are many different ones ## The letters stand for the form of the medication and the manufacturer. The first one you had was a TABlet made by MerCK pharmaceuticals. The new ones is a TaBlet made by WATson pharmaceuticals, so nothing complicated. Is there anything else I can help you with?

is it large oblong with the I8 on one side and white ## Hello, Based on the description provided this is NOT Percocet; I found your pill to be Ibuprofen (800 mg). NOTE: The actual imprint is "8i" as opposed to "i8". Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for relief of symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, fever, and as a mild pain reliever. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.

My prescription called for 10/325 and I have for the pass 15 years been taking Watson 932. Now I have a yellow tablet by Alvogen, Inc. with a strength 325/10. Is there a difference? It doesnt have APAP in the description. Please help me. ASAP - I feel something is wrong. ## Hi, Babydoll! I understand your confusion, but it is the same medication. The new one you've received has just been manufactured by a different company. The 325 still designates the APAP in it, which is just medical speak for Acetaminophen and the 10 stands for the amount of Oxycodone, this is a generic for Percocet. Learn more Percocet details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I take percocet 10/325 & 60mg oxycontin. I take endocet for the percocet, it's a yellow caplet with 10/325 on one ...

I've been on percocet 10-325 for about a yr for my back. It was working pretty good until the pharmacies started using this Mfg. out of India. What is happening? These don't take care of the pain and I get nothing but gas and diarrhea. What are they putting in our drugs now? Guess I'll have to go to the FDA. Something has to be done. I hear nothing but bad things. Help. ## Just noticed my new prescription from KP had this new lab on the bottle (AUROBINDO). After only 3 days I feel worse of my back issues, but on top, I have new issues like headaches, stomach and esophagus pain, gas, feel like crap! My family thought I was drunk crazy! Called my PM doc and he was like, that's odd. I was like,WTF! Finally called the pharmacist and he was oddly nice and confessed some peopl...

Has anyone ever seen a purple 10/325 generic percocet? I never have, but my pharmacy now carries them. ## Hi Jason, I too have never seen or heard of a purple 10/325 Oxycodone/Acetaminophen tablet. Although I'm thinking it must be fairly new for it to not turn up in any of my search results. Did you happen to find out what the imprint and shape of the pill is? Also, which pharmacy do you go to? Thanks for your feedback!

I am prescribed oxycodone 30 mg tablets every month. I ran out a few days early and I just wanted to know if I could take 10 mg Percocet in the same quantity to keep my levels up? ## The problem with taking so much Percocet is the Acetaminophen in it. The FDA lists the maximum recommended daily dose it to no more than 3,000mgs and taking 9 Percocet in a day would come really close to that. You might be okay to do this, if your doctor approves, but generally they don't like you to take more than 2, at once. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. When do you see your doctor for a new prescription? ## Yes BOO, take three Percoce...

I have been on percocet 10/325. My little two new generation pharmacy has been closed since Thursday due to the holiday I am out of percocet can i take my hydrocodone 10/325 until late I can get my prococet? Is this safe? ## Hello, Patty! How are you? Have you obtained your medication, now? For future reference, you can do that, if your doctor approves, but you should be aware that the Oxycodone in the Percocet is stronger than the Hydrocodone, so you may not get as much pain relief. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Anyone know if they have a Percocet in 15mg? It's a tablet, shaped like football, (but it is not a xanax), light blue in color. Friend says it's 15mg, is this new? Or possibly an extended release? Comments please. Thx. ## If you can provide the imprint from the tablet, I will gladly look it up for you to check what it is, however, I cannot tell you anything from just the shape and color of the pill. ## thx for response, ? is can you confirm there even is a 15mg percocet? and if possible, if so, is it in a table form? Thx. ## 10mg is the highest dose available in the percacet or generic equilements.I hope this helps you , God bless ## the 15s i have seen are like the blue ones mentioned by different manufacturers make them in a little round, pale yellow tablet with a score mark a...

I have been taking Oxycontin and for BTP Watson 10/325 generic Percocet for a number of years; they have always given me some pain relief. The Actavis Percocet 10/325 do not give me any pain relief. Life is hard enough with the stigma I get from pharmacists’, some friends, people in the pharmacies. All the time I wish my pain would go away because it’s very hard to take these pain pills, adding the stigma wow!! I have no other option. Surgeons will not operate they say the odds of making my whole back worse is to high, therapy done it many times doesn’t work. It’s been over 10 years I’ve suffered with what feels like half of a back and life. I can’t do much at all. A number of years ago I tried racing my little daughter my left leg is so weak on my th...

I have a new prescription for Percocet they are yellow oblong they don’t seem to be as effective as the round white ones. They’re marked T194 manufactured by Camber. I was wondering if this is a legit company as I’ve never heard of them before. I also have a written prescription from November 29 that hasn’t been filled, I was wondering if it is still valid? ## Yes, Camber is a legitimate company and they list these tablets as containing Oxycodone Hydrochloride 10 mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg (NDC 31722-0194 / 31722-194); a generic for Percocet. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Crospovidone - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Croscarmellose Sodium - Povidone - Starch, Pregelatinized Corn - Stearic Acid - D&c Yellow No. 10 Ref: DailyMed As to the prescription...

How would a doctor write out a prescription for 15mg percs? Would it just say 15mg Percocet? I currently take 7.5mg/325 percocets but I'm going to a new doctor since mine moved away and I wanted to change the mgs to 15 without the acetaminophen. I can modify this on my medication list that I printed out from my old doctors website patient portal. Just want to make sure I write it correctly. ## Percocet doesn't come in a 15 mg. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen. Oxycodone does come in 15 mg without the acetaminophen You may want to think twice about changing anything in your medical records or pharmacy info. Your new Dr can easily look up all the pain meds your old Dr prescribed you in your states Prescription Monitoring Program Database and most, if not al...

DuPont other side says PERCOCET ## Endo Pharmaceuticals reports that this tablet contains 5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, commonly available under the brand name Percocet. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. I use to take 10-325 of Percocet 5 times a day. My new doctor lowered the dosage to 3times a day. Saying I was takin too much. I had bad withdrawal and ended up in the hospital. I now take 3 10-325 along with 500mg of tyenol to control my pain. Even with that amount I'm still in a lot of pain. What should i do, I feel like my doctor is not listening to me. I feel the only reason he lower the dosage was because the CDC is being hard on them. I'm in pain all day long. ## The CDC is the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, they do not regulate drugs, or prescription medications. They work on getting control of outbreaks of dangerous diseases, preventing their spread, and etc. I believe you may be thinking of the DEA, which is the Drug Enforcement Agency. They are the ones tha...

I have taken Percocet many times before and just got this new generic yesterday feel strange and nauseated since took first one yesterday ! Can I contact activas the maker or walgreens to have switched or will I have to take this for whole month ? ## Hello, Gail! How are you? Unfortunately, neither the pharmacy nor the manufacturer is likely to do anything. The best thing to do would be to talk to your doctor about possibly trying a different medication and then report this issue to FDA by calling them at 888-463-6332. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks but talked to manufacture of these and your right no ...

Can anyone tell me what to look forward to when I go to management for the first time. I have advanced osteoporosis with frequent fractures and now my spine is compromised. I've been on norco,10 mg for 7 years and recently was changed to perco cent 10 mgs but I cannot tolerate then. What is a good med to replace it. I refuse to have spinal shots. ## What types of issues did you experience with the Percocet? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. There is a form of Hydrocodone, which is the active opiate in Norco that is available in a time released formulation. The name brand is Zohydro, so if it worked well for you, you may want to ask your new doctor about trying it.

Hello all, First off I'm new to posting here and I must admit this is probably a topic that is quite frequent and I have done days searching but can't seem to really find any info on my specific situation. I apologize in advance for the long post but I will introduce myself and situation. I've been on oxycodone 10/325 for a little over a year now from a botched foot surgery and diabetic neuropathy in this same foot. It helps tremendously and seems to be the only relief I can get is from taking these. Whether its first thing in the morning to be able to stand up and get moving or whether it's to let me settle down and drift off to sleep which is something fairly hard to do. I also was recently diagnosed with PTSD from my job and I am currently out of work for this. It is ...
