off white, oblong, G 32 on one side, 500 on the other ## what is a pale peach oblong tablet with 500 on one side and G 32 with an indentation between the G and the 32 on the other? Is it Naproxen? ## Yes, it is 500mgs of Naproxen, a generic for Naprosyn. ## I want to know if the naproxen pill marked G 32 500 contains penicillin? My husband has 2 hernia, and severe hip pain. Could be pain from 2 groin hernias make him so painful. Has hydrocodone 5 325. Can he take naperxon 500 with it. ## yes he can tell him he can eat a snack with it to prevent stomach upset ## Hi Sammy, I just wanted to add from my own experience that I too have taken this combination of meds in the not so distant past, after a nose surgery. I don't recall having any issues at that time, other than typical (minor) side effects such as nausea and dizziness that is commonly associated with many medications. However I understand that everyone reacts/responds differently and that trial and error is something we all must undergo at some point in order to find out what works best. Hopefully the addition of naproxen will help. If not, maybe his d...

Will Naproxen help for tramadol withdrawal reflief? Joint aches, headache, restless legs, can't sleep etc??? ## Hi Jonny, From what I've seen online, it appears that others have also inquired about this as well. And as far as Naproxen is concerned, many people tend to believe that it wont help much, if at all, when it comes to dealing with Tramadol withdrawal relief (since it's not in the same drug class and is also considered to be much weaker than Tramadol at that). My advice would be to look into what's called the "Thomas Recipe" at: personal.umich.edu/~timaster/biopsych/home.html This is said to be one of the most common methods used for an "at home detox" and seems to have gotten a lot of positive feedback in terms of helping alleviate Tramadol withd...

I've seen Naproxen and have been told Vicodin has this imprint as well. Are Naproxen and Vicodin the same? ## Naproxen and Vicodin are two very different pain medications. To my understanding, the similarities found in the imprint are just a sign that they had been manufactured or redistributed by the same company (Amneal Pharmaceuticals). The IP 190 500 tablet contains Naproxen 500mg (NDC 65162-0190); a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Ref: DailyMed The IP 109 tablet contains Vicodin (Acetaminophen 325mg + Hydrocodone 5mg); which is a combination of two types of pain medicine - Hydrocodone being an opiate narcotic pain reliever. (NDC 53746-109): Ref: DailyMed Hope this helps! ## You are probably confused because the markings are similar. Generic Norco 5/325mg (Hydrocodone/a...

oxycod apap 5 325 mg or naproxen 500 mg which is better for neck pain and back pain ## These are two very different medications, which treat pain in different ways. The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen is a generic for Percocet, it is a narcotic (opiate) analgesic. Thus it does carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Learn more Percocet details here. But the Naproxen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation.
