Filed under OxycodoneMay be moving to Florida. Will I have a hard time finding a doctor to keep me on the same pain meds, oxocodone 10mg? I have been on this now for 2 years & my heart and G.I. doctors know I take this prescribed by my primary doctor. I don't want to have to be put through the wringer for I didn't ask for this pain med. My primary changed it to this from norco due to the acetaminophen in my others meds. He stated that with my other meds plus the norco i was getting too much acetaminophen so he started me on the oxycodone. I know it's a strong narcotic but with my huge list of allergies this was what they came up with. I have no problem going to a pain clinic or signing the pain contract, I just don't know where I start looking for the correct doctors I will need. I know ...
Filed under OxycodoneDoes Albertson's pharmacy in phoenix carry the oxy V's? If not, which pharmacies have v's? ## Hello, Queenie! How are you? I'm assuming you're referring to the ones with the V logo that are manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals? What is the complete marking on them? That information would help someone to be able to answer your question. The FDA lists this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
The pharmacy that I use changed my brand of Oxycodone every month. Where can I find a pharmacy that stocks the M F brand that I am used to taking? And why to different brands have a different effect on me? Some brands seem to work better than others. ## not sure if you are talking about the medicine that's stamped with an M (mallinckrodt)if u are most Walgreens carries them. ## MF stands for “my failure.” Oxycodone is the worst drug to get dependent on. So whoever takes it I feel bad for you. Cuz I broke 7 ribs in a car accident in the passenger seat ... from the airbag. So I had to be on bed rest for 8 weeks. While getting 30mg blue roxicodone. I was taking multiple times a day. Anyways, I always get the weird generic company and find out that they are exactly the same....
What is everyone's thoughts on the best brand of oxycodone 15mg? They don't all work the same... Some make me drowsy and some give me energy. What is your preference? ## I believe the Qualitest brand to be one of the better ones, but I've also noticed a problem here lately with them being always consistent in their strength; the KVK are good too; the Mylan brand A214's plain SUCK! They were good at one point but no more & lots of smaller pharms must get them at the cheapest prices, then sell them for 2-3$ a piece! Good Luck to you, like I read from another, "JUST STOP TAKING THEM ALL TOGETHER & if they're fake your body will start to let you know by feeling withdrawals & if by taking one it helps that & your pain all in one shot, THEN YOU KNOW THE...
round green pill with 80 on one side and oc on the other side ## This is not made by Ethex, there are simply a distributor for Purdue Pharma, for awhile, it seems they still had a supply of the original Oxycontin, however, once they are out, they will also only be able to provide the new formulation, Oxycontin OP. If you are having problems with the medication, I can only suggest you report it to both Purdue and the FDA at the following numbers: Purdue Pharma number for drug safety/medication issues: 888.726.7535 FDA MedWatch number: 800-332-1088 Have you spoken to your doctor about using an alternative medication?
Walgreens new Camber 5mg Percocet is not coated. Blue dye is bitter, upsets stomach and stains tongue. Pharmacist stated I wasn’t supposed to place pill on tongue. He stated ALL Tylenol is bitter. Told him I’d have to suck on a Tylenol to experience this taste. Does anyone know what blue dye is for? Also, this brand, from India, relieves pain, if at all, for maximum of 2 hours. What a rip-off! Who handles quality control in India? If they’ve setup shop here, it’s to import this crap legally. Husband has same problem w/Camber’s10mg Percocet, but atleast they r coated. ## Hi Caren, Lets answer your questions one at a time. Blue dye is used to color the pill, think of food dyes. The reason that the pills are colored is because the FDA ensures that medication i...
I went to the Emergency Room last Saturday on 12/122015. I could not take the pain. I got 2 Vicodin at the Emergency Room. The doctor sent me home with 2 prescriptions. The Prescriptions were for Oxycodone. I had a reaction to it. I think they were Percocet. I became very itchy. I called the ER and told a nurse what happened. She told me to come back. I was too tired and never went back. Now it is Christmas and I wish that I did go back. Is Oxycodone the same as Percocet? I think that I had a bad reaction to Percocet about 10+ years ago. My old PCP told me to say that I was allergic to it. ## Hello, Janet! How are you? I'm so sorry about the problems you've experienced. Yes, they are the same. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone as its active ingredients. The FDA class...
Can someone please help me find the Brand Roxicodone for my chornic pain. Have found out that the binders in the generic pills are causing me health problems. My pain Dr. has written my script for Roxicodone, but I cannot find a Pharmacy in Colorado Springs, CO that has them. I take the 30mg size pill. Can anyone help me?
Pictures of Mallinckrodt 20 milligram ## @She Devil, According to mallinckrodt's product catalog, they don't make a 20mg oxycodone. Here's a list of what they do make: Oxycodone + Acetaminophen 10 mg/325 mg Oxycodone + Acetaminophen 5 mg/325 mg Oxycodone + Acetaminophen 7.5 mg/325 mg Oxycodone HCl 15 mg Oxycodone HCl 30 mg Oxycodone HCl 5 mg Ref: mallinckrodt.com/Generics/Generic_Products If you received what you think may be a 20mg oxycodone, I would encourage you to call mallinckrodt directly just to be sure. their customer service toll-free number is 800-325-8888 (Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm CST). I hope this helps!
I've been on pain management for about six years and am having difficulty. I first noticed it with 20 mg IR tabs that my doctor replaced for 10 mg tabs, my insurance was only going to pay for so many. It wasn't three days that I realized that these weren't right. I got almost through the bottle that month in less time than I was supposed to and went back to my doctor for answers. He chastised me, sent me packin'. Then after some research like on this site, I printed the comments by fellow pain management suffers. That's when he fessed up about the manufacturers of generic are mostly off by as much as 20%, other comments have given it to be as much as 30%. Usually the error of pain killer is off to the negative side. That is my experience. Well, that's my story an...
I seem to be having the same issue as some in this forum. I had been on another brand until this refill & well this Rhodes brand doesn't seem as effective. One of the main reasons I'm here, I thought it odd that I wasn't getting the same relief as the other brand. I'm going to contact my pharmacy and see if they can do anything, I may call my PM doctor as well to see if they have any suggestions. ## The last two months have been hard on me since Rite aid switched from really good working oxycodone 10/325 to this RHODES pharmacy GARBAGE and it’s not only that but all my meds aren’t working like they used to. I loved my old ones (oblong) Easily cut/snap in half. With this maker of these meds my eyes burn and water, nose constantly runs and I’m in so m...
oval white pill with k10 on front nothing on back ## THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT OXYCODONE This is nothing more than a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol, containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen. ## If the K has an arrow forming the top right part of the K, it is generic Tylenol 500mg. If the K has no arrow, it is Atarax 10mg which is a prescription medication.
White tablet with the numbers 325 ## Sounds like generic percocet to me! ## Round white pill with N on one side the second side is scored with 325 on top and 5 on bottom ## A round, white tablet with just 325 on it is not any type of opiate, or other controlled substance. It is listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand for Tylenol. Crasht, that one, however, is a generic for Percocet, which contains 5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation. It is manufactured by Novapharm. ## I need to know whether you can overdose on these tablets? ## They should have a score on one side with 512 on the other side
I've been taking oxycodone 15mg green tabs for chronic pain management. My last prescription I dropped off at Walmart pharmacy. When I picked up my prescription the pills the pharmacist showed me looked very different from the green round pills I'm used too taking. Theses pills, made my Rhodes made me sick immediately. I suffered withdrawal like symptoms (headache, dry mouth, anxiety) and had little or no pain relief for two weeks. I see my doctor again on Friday and I'll not be filling my prescription at Walmart as long as they are carrying Rhodes brand oxycodone. ## Hello, Lyn! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you experienced. Due to the problem they caused you, before filling your prescription anywhere, you may want to ask them ahead of time which tablet ...
orange ## Sorry, you have not provided enough information. This drug is available in both name brand and generic versions. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med. In order to identify your pill for you and tell you what it is, you need to provide the complete imprint from the pill, all letters, numbers and/or symbols that may be on it, as well as the color and shape. Then I can look it ...
M 595 ## This tablet contains 40mgs of Oxycodone CR, a generic for Oxycontin. This is a narcotic analgesic. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation. ## Okay,I remember the football shaped generic oxycontin and they did not work near as well as the name brand. My doctor agrees with that and told me 2 years ago that generic oc will be coming off the shelves because of their ineffectivness. Now, we have a new generic, the M 595, where do these line up in comparison to the name brand and the discontinued football shaped ones? also ABG or AGB, I forget, has a generic OC on the market, ,,they work very well. Do the M 595's work as well,,please advise if you or anyone can. thank you ## I have not used them, nor heard from anyone who has,...
ok, this is the real deal regarding the generic 10mg oxycodone a333 made by Actavis - actually Actavis acquired Watson - Watson brand product was discontinued Jan. 2014 - it is hard to find another generic - my opinion is that Actavis undercut prices of other generics, so all the pharmacies are buying it - i totally agree that there is a huge difference in pain relief - Actavis is now a huge global pharmaceutical presence, second or third to, well, I can't remember the other companies, you could look it up - they are using Purdue Pharma's anti-abuse formula or whatever you want to call it - they are moving their corporate headquarters to Ireland to take advantage of the lower tax rates - I spoke to them a long time (2 hours), and also wrote the FDA regarding their product - the ...
yellow oblong pill ## THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT OXYCODONE!!! This is an OVER THE COUNTER medication. Not any type of narcotic. This pill contains Acetaminophen 250mgs, Aspirin 250mgs and Caffeine 65mgs, it is a generic or store brand of Excedrin Migraine.
The np 12 10mg oxycodone hcl pills are just as good if not better than the k's or A's or any other 10mg oxy for that matter..like the previous person said it all matters how your body metabolized the drug...bottomline everyones chemistry is diffrent...ive been on narcotics since i was 16 and I have always hated the "this brand is better than this brand" discussion ## @Grizzy, You have a good point about 'how the body metabolizes the drug due to different body chemistry', as opposed to one brand being "better" than another. I think there are few exceptions though, like when it comes to certain manufacturers using more or less active/inactive ingredients that obviously give it a greater or lesser advantage than other brands/generics right off the bat. A goo...
