N P 12 Percocet

I received some pills that are suppose to be 10mg Percocet but the imprints is an odd uppercase E & 12 on them. Are these really percs ??? I've never seen em before ## I haven't found any Percocet or the generic equivalent that matches this description. What is the shape and color? Is there a medication called percocet 5125. If so, what is it, what does it look like what mg is it? ## No, the medication name would just be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so it's a narcotic pain reliever. Sometimes numbers do follow the name to designate the dosage, but there is no Percocet on the market with 5mgs of Oxycodone and 125mgs of Acetaminophen. However, there is on that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It is made by several different manufacturers, so the markings on them will vary, depending on who made it. Are there any markings on the pill in questions? If so, please post back with this information and I can help you further.

I also want to know if half a pill will work just as if I took a whole one? ## NP 12 is Oxycodone. It is very dangerous to cut or break it. ## This tablet is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so yes, it can be cut, if your doctor approves. Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. how long should a prescription of 120 10mg/325 percocet last when taking 1 every 6 hours as needed, in days months,etc... ## 6 x 4 = 24, so you'd be using 4 a day, multiplied by 30 days = 120 pills. If you adhere to this schedule, your prescription should last about a month. Is oxycontin and Percocet the same thing except without the tylenol ## Yeah. It's usually extended release instead of the percocet, which is immediate release. I have psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. I've always been prescribed Percocet 10/325 for my pain. This morning my pharmacy told me that the price has increased by $2.00 by my insurance company (UHC) has not yet adjusted their coverage price. Generic bupropion 75mg lavender tablet with gg 929 markings was miraculous for me. And i felt the antidepressant success almost immediately. I've been taking 12 Percocet a day for 3 weeks. Been taking Percocet for longer than that but I haven't been getting relief like I used to. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCOCET M357 AND PERCOCET 512 ## M357 is NOT percocet, it is a different class of narcotic pain reliever called lorcet or hydrocodone. it is a generic version and not as strong as a perc 5/12 ## That is correct, M357 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is not an equivelent to Percocet, but, as stated above, a generic for Vicodin or Lortab. It is still a narcotic pain reliever, but not as strong as those containing Oxycodone. This pill marked 512 contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone and is a generic for Percocet. I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. Are this the same class meds? Same family? ## Yes, they both contain the narcotic Oxycodone. The difference is that the Percocet combines it with Acetaminophen, in the dose you mentioned it's 10mgs with 325mgs of Acetaminophen and it's a regular release formulation, while the Oxycontin contains 40mgs of Oxycodone, by itself, in a 12 hour time released formulation. I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay? ## I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. They prescribed me 12 percocet, 1 every 4 to 6 hrs. How many days is that (2 or 3 days worth)? I went to the ER on 12/6/2015. I was in serious pain. The Dr. ordered me 2 Vicodin to take at the Hospital. He gave me a prescription before I left. The medication bottle said Oxycodone. I took it. These are the WORST, most garbage freaking forms of percocet I have ever had in my life. Someone please tell me who the manufacturer is so I can call and leave horrible feedback. I get 120 of percocet a month and have felt nothing. These do NOT work, people please do not waste your money. I have been on pain medicine for over a year now, and these do nothing, absolutely nothing to stop my pain or even remotely help it a little. I am so damn mad that this product is even on the market.
