Mucinex D Drug Test

Will I fail a drug test if I take one single dose of mucinex fast max? I'm currently on probation and took medicine, now I'm worried. ## I took a single dose of Mucinex last week and I have to take a drug test for parole this week will I have a false positive?

My daughter failed a drug test. She claimed she only took bc powder, ibuprophen, and trazodone..... Can u fail a drug test for methamphetamine with this mixture? ## Ibuprofen wont give a false reading for meth! Phenylalanine,pseudoephedrine (sudafed,for hayfever) & trazodone will both give a false positive though! :) Just like a reading for opiates will produce a false positive for morphine! & codeine will give a false positive for morphine also. ## I was in pain management until 2 days ago. I take a drug test each month. I have not used any drugs, yet came up positive for amphetamines. I was sick around the time and took mucinex and sudafed. I am also on a few presciption medications, nexium, trazadone, cholonodine and bupropion (wellbutrin). Could someone tell me which drug or combinations would have made the positive test? I want to know so I can bring the meds in for the doctor to see I did not use any street drug. ## Ask your pharmacist before you see your doctor. I recently had sinus congestion. I took OTC Mucinex. When I took my urine test it showed up POSITIVE for amphetamines. Is this possible? ## I've done a lot of things but I have never ever ever taken amphetamines. That said, my doctor gave me a urine test that I take every three months because I'm on narcotics for the military and it comes up positive for amphetamines. All I can think of is she gave me hydroxyzine HCL.

I was wondering if Acetaminophen could result in a false positive on a urine drug test? I had a bad chest cold so I've been taking Russian cough syrup, mucinex, and some other generic cold medicine that has, Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, Phenylephrine. I am in pain management. I drink about four quarts of water a day. I am diabetic. My list of meds are MS Contin, Norco for breakthrough pain , Xanax for PTSD, metformin, clonidine, *bp med*, Lasix for water retention, vistaril for itching, thyroid, Cipro, Medrol dose pack at the time of test, azo for bladder infections, laxatives and softeners. Amytriptaline, Ibuprofen or naproxen with Norco, afrin nasal spray , mucinex, megadoses , and albuterol for asthma and copd as well as combivent. My doctor says my meds came in low and there was valium in my system. I don't think anything is infallible and that some drugs with others can offer a false positive. I love my doctor. This man is the reason I walk today. I cannot lose him to distrust. I understood my contract with him and I respect...

I take 2 tablets in the morning at breakfast and 2 tablets at dinner time. I was advised recently to test my sugar 2 hours after each meal for beakfast, lunch and dinner. They said it should be under 140. I can not get under 141 after breakfast, it is usually around 220. Two hours after lunch it is usually below 140, even though i do not take any tablets at lunch. I have tried taking the tablets 1 hour before i eat breakfast and the results are closer to 140. The only time i show bad results is at breakfast. Can you explain whe i should take the tablets? does melatonin interact with mucinex? ## There are no interactions listed, however, since Melatonin is a supplement, not a drug, it hasn't been extensively tested against other medications. Both, however, can cause drowsiness, so taking them together may enhance this side effect. Are there any questions or comments?

I tested positive for amphetamines and must find an over the counter medicine to say I was taking. Huge mistake I made but must fix now. Please help. My husband has been on albuterol breathing treatments, mucinex, adderall and several other prescription meds and just tested positive for both amphetamines and methamphetamine. Can the combination cause a false positive for methamphetamine? ## Adderall shows up as both if it's a legal perception your husband has he just has to show it. ANY Dr. Should know tha t Adderall shows up as an amphedimine.

I live in a sober living house and im sick with my sinuses and chest congestion. We do random ua's and i took some mucinex d. Will that fail me if i take a standard cup ua 12 panel?

my medications are 800mg asacol 3x day,10mg prednisone,50 mg metoprolol,40 mg pantoprazole,25mg topiramate,talwin nx as needed,500mg ciprofloxacin hcl 2x day,10mg potassium,325mg ferrus sulfate,mucinex dm er 600-30mg 2x day ## i am allergic to pcn , cod , and sulfa ......am i able to take Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride 500 mg ? without causing an allergic reaction ## You can not be sure that you will NOT have an allergic reaction to any Antibiotic. However the one you are asking about is not in the Penicillin, Sulfa, or other family. ## Can Trazodone cause a false positive for Methamphetamine on a drug screen?
