How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Yes, I just recently found an updated FDA informational listing that lists severe high blood pressure as a rare side effect of Miralax. It likely means you should stay away from it in the future and use something else. Other side effects may possibly include excessive thirst, abdominal bloating, nausea and indigestion. How are you doing, now?

## This nefedipine is the only high blood pressure drug that has brought my bp down but the docs won't let me change because it constipates me severely. What can I do, have tried Miralax, benefiber, bran, cod liver oil and stool softeners always have to resort to laxatives. ## I am finding myself constipated all the time as well with this medication and nothing works but laxatives. I am on 90. MG What can I do? ## Have you tried discussing this with your doctor? It would not be safe for us to try and recommend anything, this site is not medical professionals and have no way of knowing your medical history.
