Micro Pills Side Effects

I have a friend whose been using micropil for almost 5 years already. They decided (as a couple) to stop taking it (Just this month) and still waiting for her period to come. Is there a possibility that her period will get delay, like for how long? ## I've been taking micropil for over a year now. The side effects are really visible to me like i am suffering intense headache almost everyday and i am obviously gaining weight. My hubby noticed it so he told me to quit taking the pills so that's what i did. I already took 5 out of 21 tablets i discontinued using the pill. After 3 days without taking the pill i started bleeding for 5 days now... Can potassium chloride micro tabs affect your libido? ## Hello, Larry! How are you? No, this supplement hasn't been known to do that. It's most common side effect, as listed by the FDA is nausea, because it's very harsh on the stomach, so it should be taken with food. Are you on any other medications?

I'm taking a double dose from 20 to 20 now and my finger nails are breaking a lot. ## This is just a potassium supplement, so it hasn't been tested for most side effects, but it really shouldn't cause that. Hello, I have been taking Euthyrox 50 microgram pills daily for about 12 years now. Recently, I found out that the manufacturer is changing the lactose in this medicine to mannitol, which has some side effects, with the most alarming one being congestive heart failure. I have atrial fibrillation and am very worried about this issue. My question is: does this side effect only relate to large doses of mannitol? My Euthyrox pill is so light that I cannot even weigh it.

I was put on a T3 compound of 15 micrograms twice a day and Synthroid. I ended up having about four to five incidents where I had severe stomache cramping and then violent vomiting and a month or two after starting the meds. I did ask my Dr. about it and he said he did not know what that would be from and ordered a food allergy test, which came back fine. I did not feel like the Dr. cared and I did not want to continue having those incidents so I stopped taking the meds. I have not had any of those incidents since but of course I am having all the super sucky symptoms that required the meds in the first place so now I am trying to figure out on my own how I can fix this. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how was it fixed? Why would this happen? Is this a side effect of the T3 or S...

I used trust pills more than 3 years ago and now i already stopped using it. Is it ok if i changed pills every month? my first 4 months i took althea pill but i felt that it makes me dry, then i changed to nordette for 3 months but i felt frequently headache, and now Im taking micropill. Is there any effect about it? ## You may experience some more side effects by changing frequently, because of the different hormone levels that are in them, but that's about all, unless your doctor has said otherwise. However, due to that fact, you should settle on one as soon as you can get one that works well for you, without causing problems and not keep switching. I herniated a disc in Feb 2011 that didn't respond to a microdiscectomy, so was going thru intensive PT before deciding whether or not to do a fusion. Well, in early Dec of 2011, I came down with Guillian-Barre Syndrome, a rare syndrome where your immune system attacks your peripheral nervous system. Recovering from GBS can be extremely painful. Differences in the interval timing of your dosing as well as the absorption rate and how it's metabolized, would all likely be enough to render a different reaction to each form of administration. Additionally, different binders and fillers that are be present in the tablets may not necessarily be there in the form of an injection. Inactive ingredients in the tablet, the tablet's film coating, and polishing are: carnauba wax, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, titanium dioxide and more... I was prescribed by my doctor to take 1 tablet each morning. I have a lot of lung, bone, reflex and other issues. On O2 daily now. Are there any side effects I should watch for? Also, on the same day I was prescribed to take a Potassium Chloride Micro 10meq ER tab once daily. Any suggestions?
