I'm on Xolair for my asthma and I also have liver damage from a blood transfusion, which gave me Hep C. Does this medication cause more damage? What vitamins are in Metanx? I already take a multi-vitamin. Am I now taking an over-load of vitamins? ## As to vitamin overload, you would need to discuss that with your doctor. Did they know you were taking a multi-vitamin when they prescribed this?

I'm 40 yrs. old and a mother of 2. It's only now that we decided to have a baby again. My husband is 41 and has acquired epilepsy due to stroke. He has taken medication since 2014. We tried hard to have a baby during my fertility period since my menstruation is still normal. I'm wondering if I did not get pregnant because of his medication? ## What medication is he taking? Some of them may cause issues with his fertility, according to NIH reports. However, your age may also play a role. It is not common for women to become pregnant at age 40, or beyond. The NIH does warn us that our bodies tend to slow down and not be as fertile as we get older. Are you on any medications?

I am 47, weigh 70kg, am type 2 diabetic and have been taking Galvus Met 1000mg for my diabetic condition along with Bilocor 5mg & Co Exforge 5mg/160mg/12.5mg for the past 4 years. However, my blood pressure does not want to come down. My average BP is 180/90. What can be the cause? My medication? ## It is most likely that it is due to the diabetes, and not the medications. They usually go hand in hand, according to NIH reports. Do you watch your diet to make sure that you don't take in a lot of sodium and fat? Ar you on any other medications? I have an duodenal Ulcer in my stomach and when ever I have to take any inflammatory medication I always take altosec just in case,I have slipped discs at the bottom of my spine which has affected my right sciatic nerve from my hip down to my big toe.I walk every day to keep myself mobile, only take medication when really necessary and just want to verify whether it is better to take after or before a meal ## Hello, Beryl! How are you? You should take the Altosec before a meal, that way it actually has time to start working by the time you're digesting your meal. I began the starter pack with 10mg for 2 weeks and then moved up to 20mg for 2 weeks. I experienced the WORST ever side affects from an anxiety drug. I have taken many, and this was unbearable. It caused extreme muscle fatigue to the point that it was difficult to move my arms or legs, and increased my appetite, due to the stomach side affects. Food eased the stomach cramps. The worst side affect was my blood pressure was scary high and my heart beat became irregular and fast. After mentioning these things, I was switched over to Effexor - SOOOO MUCH BETTER!! ## I have been on this for about 2 months and have AWFUL muscle pain in my legs, arms and back. How long do I have to be off this before these side effects go away? These are not the only side effects I have but definately the ones...

I have been taking this medication and 100mgs of morphine plus alot of other meds for different reasons after a horrific car accident. I stopped the morphine bc I can't be a zombie I have disabled twins. It took awhile to get off the morphine. Now they wanna just stop giving Lortabs tens to me cold turkey. I have autistic twins to care for I have to be able to walk and stand up. Is there anything for pain they can give that will help? Ultram. And those drugs have bad affects on me.

If you are having bad side affects from Oxy OP find a compounding pharmacy that will make the formula for you. Not easy to find a one that will be able or willing to do this for you but they are out there. It is an option but make sure your doctor submits a pre-authorization for "compound" medication if you have insurance coverage. If not, the compound med is half the cost of regular OP pills. Many people do not know about compounding medicines so be prepared for that road block. Do research and be prepared. I started taking Lo loestrin fe on the first day of my period, but I also took an adovan that morning, I had a antibiotic shot a couple days earlier. I stopped all other medications after the first day of taking Lo. Am I still covered since I took it on day 1? ## Some antibiotics can alter the efficacy of oral contraceptives. Which antibiotic were you given? If you restrict it to opiates, as capt ekim talked about searching for, then that narrows the list a bit, but in regards to general analgesics there are many on the market, both over the counter and prescription only medications. Additionally, there's no way to really know which will be stronger or weaker for any given person, since medications can affect everyone differently.
