Manufacturers Of Adderall
35 Topics FoundI'm searching for a current list of generic Adderall manufacturers (2020). ## Hmmm, aside from calling pharmacies and finding out which brands they stock, it might be possible to stitch together some information based on a couple of different sources to get a rough idea of which companies currently manufacture generic Adderall. For example, if you search this site's NDC database for Amphetamine (one of the ingredients), it gives you a lot of results. Next to each result is a date, so if you go through the pages and look for the more current dates then that could give you an idea. Also, DailyMed has a similar list but I don't see dates unless you click on each record. Lastly you can also check on the FDA Recalls page periodically to see if any brands have specifically withdra...
Okay I was prescribed Adderall IR and my first script happened to be Corp Pharma. I can honestly say I thought it was horrible. This month my pharmacy had the orange footballs 974, from Teva, 110% better. I do want to try Sandox because everyone says how great it is, but right now after taking Corp for a month, I'm not complaining about getting Teva. ## I am very glad that you've found a product that works for you. The FDA does warn that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, irritability, mood changes, anorexia, and insomnia. Can anyone else chime in with their experiences? ## I’ve been getting my adderall IR script from CVS for 4 months and have always been given the blue football. Saturday i went to get...
Many pharmacies use whatever companies products are currently available to to dispense. Shire's name brand products are often covered under all but a few insurance companies. It is the "most effective" in Shire's opinion. Teva, a Israeli pharmaceutical firm, as well as others make generic off shoots of mixed amphetamine salts cocombinations. They may be in short supply in areas. Small independent pharmacies are not allotted as many of these CII stimulates. Paying cash is preferred by pharmacies if generic substitutions are not marked or not in stock. One takes what one can afford or even find. My MD always issues me three different but similar Rx's and DOES NOT label them "NOT TO BE ISSUED A MONTH APART." A issuance of a Rx of a CII like generic Adderal's...
Tomorrow I should be filling a script for 30 mg Adderall IR tablets, but I am nervous about getting stuck with a subpar generic. What are the current generic manufacturers as of this month? My only option with my insurance is to fill at Rite Aid or CVS - which generic do they commonly carry? I appreciate your help! ## Spoke with corepharma this morning. They no longer manufacture amphetamine salts. Limited to Sandoz, barr/teva, and a few others now. I was just switched to Aurobindo. IT IS AWFUL. It feels narcotic, makes my add worse, and is inconsistent at best in strength. ## The worst are corepharma's bright pink round pills. CVS buys them at the cheapest rate. Mylan aren't bad with their peach round MA20, but most swear by Sandoz and Barr/teva. ## Being that we all react/resp...
i have noticed the changes in all adderall..whether talking ir or xr, adderall brand names or other manufacturers (sandox ect) not at all the same effects ## Well. there can be some variations from one manufacturer to the other, in both the active and inactive ingredients. When you know which one works for you, you should keep track of who manufactured it and go back to the same pharmacy you got it from. Or, if they switch, call around to see if another has it or request that they order it in for you. What manufacturer have you found to work best? ## vern...i have found none to be satisfactory since the original adderall ir and the xr changed formulations. this is documented fact now, although kept quite undercover for a long time. some very persistant people uncovered the whole patent ...
It is time for the FDA (the US. Government ) to take action on requiring Pharma companies (manufacturers) to set standards for all Adderall brand medications. it is absolutely impossible to determine who makes the real pill and the contents of the medication. I have been misled (lied to) by several pharmacists. Many patients complain about the effects of one brand or another. Suffering from ADHD and its other cousins is painful enough. Most medications are required to provide every aspect of the contents and efficacy. Enough is enough. Patients lives are affected. Contact your Congressman or the FDA. The time has come for the truth. ## I think I got adhd I can't sleep at night my mind is going a hundred miles per hour I can't contradict my mind can't stay one one thing I wis...
Most of the post I'm reading are blasting the teva generic. I have tried core pharma's 30mg round pink tablets, and yes the ingredients are different between the two manufacturers, teva and core pharma. I've taken ADD medicine for six years and can tell you they are different. If it's hard for you to get up and get your day started try core pharma. If your up and in a slump and it's around 4pm take teva and you'll notice exactly what your supposed to notice. Teva is pure relaxation and focus where core pharma is harsh and cortisol inducing. Very hard to sleep on core pharma. Try taking half the tablet and be sure to eat good quality carbs with your ADD medicine. The body can't motivate without ample glucose. We are ADD because most of us have issues with the ...
I would like some input on Adderall 20 mg Instant Release. I have been through four manufacturers. I was on Activist and lots of people did not like it, however it worked for me. It had its fault but in the end it was recalled. Sometime during that period Teva bought out Activist. Since then I haven't been able to get an instant release to work without bad side effects. Then I was told there was a Name Brand being sold by Teva. I was able to get this with pill logo dp 20. I took only ten milligrams and my heart was racing out of control. I called the F D A and they advised me that the pill with imprint dp 20 was a generic. What I would like to know is how can it be Name Brand when through research shows after Shire discontinued AD 20 there was no other name brand. I have looked up N...
Is there a difference in the potency of the generic oval orange 30mg and the generic round pink 30 mg? ## Hi Wendy, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients (which may or may not be present in each brand) are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. So it's possible that you may respond favorably with one medication and not the other (even if they are the same drug and same dosage). Pink 30mg generic Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine tablets (imprinted Cor 136) with a National Drug Code of 64720-0136 contain the following inactive ingredients: - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline -...
I've noticed that the last three years in a row around this time either at the Adderall generic Sandoz brand is on backorder or suddenly the pills don't have the same affect. So in essence the pharmacy and drug manufacturers I getting paid while patients suffer without the proper medication. Has anyone else had this happen this month? I am taking the Adderall generic 30 milligrams twice a day I feel like I haven't taken anything. ## What are the markings on the one they've provided you with? I'm sorry, but I need this information in order to research more information on it for you. Can you please post back and clarify? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousnes...
Does this generic version have the same effect as the brand adderall? Just doesn't feel the same so far. Should I take more to regain the normal effects? Or is it just hopeless? ## @Newton, Generics can be tricky with regards to their potency. Not many patients are aware of this, but apparently the FDA allows dug manufacturers to have a 20-25% variability in the amount of active ingredients that they put into their generic tablets. Although some generic versions can be better than others, I believe this is why many people don't feel like they get any relief from them. I'm not a doctor, so I can't recommend taking any more than you're already prescribed... but it sounds like brand name adderall would be more consistent as far as its overall efficacy is concerned. I ho...
My usual generic Adderall 10mg pill is usually a round blue pill. It's manufactured usually by Aurobindo and sometimes the pharmacy will give me one manufactured by IMPA (I'm assuming it's an abbreviation). This time, I was given a round light green pill with the numbers 443 and what looks like a smushed letters MP on it. The manufacturer is Northstar (formerly Sun Pharmaceuticals). Is this safe? I had some unrelated stomach issues last year and I'm concerned about side effects of this pill since other dosages of this manufacturers generic Adderall has given people bad side effects. My pharmacy isn't really addressing my concerns. Any info would be great. ## Hi Maggie, I am interested myself. I know a guy who says they are good. But everyone is different. ## Sun Phar...
I am not sure how Mallinckrodt's generic products (quality) are in general, but if you take generic Adderall IR, it is horrible! Very weak, with an obvious lack of efficacy. Does anyone here have feedback on how Mallinckrodt's Adderall might compare to other drug manufacturers? ## What are the markings on them? Sometimes the manufacturer listed on the bottle is a licensed distributor, but sharing the pill imprint would enable others to double check on this as well as determine how the various inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) compare to other brands or generics on the market. I've tried and used Teva/Barr, Lannett, Core pharma, AURO (worst imo), and now just got Rhodes. Not sure if Rhodes is making me spacey, sleepy, anxious and low energy, bloated, headache. All are often indications that the active ingredients are meh. There are so many manufacturers out nowadays, it's a revolving door and it's adding to the already difficult challenges many people have experienced since the pandemic. Lordy. Rhodes? Anyone? ## How are you doing taking the product from Rhodes, now? Has there been any change? The FDA considers all generic medications to be therapeutically equivalent. They warn that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, anorexia, mood changes, and anxiety. Ref: Adderall Informmatio...
Hello, Currently, as of March 21, 2016, I have been unable to get my 30mg Adderall generic filled after visiting over a dozen pharmacies in the Atlanta, GA area. This has *never* happened to me before. Anyone in the city or very close suburbs know of a place that has 30mg's? I know there are multiple manufacturers, and I haven't been able to find anything that suggests that it's suddenly become impossible to find 30mg *anywhere*. ## Have you tried Sam's Club? I'm on the North West of Atlanta, about 20 OTP. Filled my on March 7 though, so maybe I should check into this. Good Luck ## I live in michigan and can't find a pharmacy that has my 30mg either, They are stating they are on back order. I have been out for over a week. ## I live in Southern California and had...
I have blue capsules that say adderall xr 30 mg on them but they have only white beads. Is this generic or brand? And how are these different from the orange 30 mg adderall xr with the white and orange beads? ## @Ricky, When you switch between different manufacturers, the only noticeable thing I'm aware of that actually changes are the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), so that could be one reason why the beads are different colors - different dyes? As to whether or not it's a generic or brand that you have, my research shows that the orange 30mg pill marked with "Adderall XR" is indeed a brand name and not generic. The blue capsule on the other hand is also reported to be brand name Adderall XR... however, I'm seeing conflicting information from Shire Pharmaceu...
I was just told by a costco pharm. that d-amphetamine salt com xr has been discontinued ## It hasn't been discontinued, but there is a current supply shortage, reported to the FDA by all manufacturers. As supplies improve, they are shipping it to various pharmacies on an allocated basis. In the meantime, the only thing I can suggest is checking with various pharmacies to see which one has it in stock, or talking to your doctor about using an alternative medication in the meantime. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Dextrose-amphetamine salt is not the only ingredient, so even if it was cancelled, which is is not, it wouldn't discontinue Adderall.
looking for a pharmacy in San Antonio that still has the 10mg adderall in stock ## I'm sorry, but this site doesn't have any way of knowing this information. The manufacturers, however, have CS numbers that you can call, they might be able to let you know who has it in stock. Sandoz: 609-627-8500 CorePharma: 800-850-2719 Teva: 888-838-2872 Is there anything else I can help with? ## What pharmacy carries the pink adderall 30 mg in Harris County (Baytown, Texas) please?
Does anyone know which generic manufacturer CVS commonly has in stock for both IR and XR Adderall (Amphetamine Salts)? I know they used to carry Mylan for the IR and it's awful. They also used to carry Actavis for the XR which is also terrible, but I don't have many pharmacy choices with my insurance.. and I'm nervous that I'm going to get stuck with Actavis/Mylan... if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. I live in RI btw. Thank you! ## Different locations carry different manufacturers, brands and generics (and they are always subject to change). The only way to find out what a specific location carries is to go in person as if you are filling your prescription. You can always choose to not accept what they offer you and go somewhere else. After-all it's your ...
for the last two months 2 different pharmacies gave me some new all orange capsule, supposedly a new generic adderall xr 30 mg. these make me fall asleep and i do not feel the same as the amphetamine salt combo i have been on for three years now. anyone else having the same experience? ## Hi Shaun, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences and side effects you are feeling have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention this to their patients, after giving them a completely different script without prior ...
