I 4 5 on a round white tablet Label says Metformin 500 MG from Solco Health. . . from Publix grocery pharmacy's free program. These do not resemble the others that I had been taking from another pharmacy. ## You do have the correct medication, this does contain 500mgs of Metformin. Not all generics will look the same, as they have to have unique markings so the contents and manufacturer can be identified in case of emergency. Do you have any other questions? ## Where is Socol's metformin #145 manufactured? ## Solco does not make anything they are a marketing front for the Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd - This company is/ws under investigation by the Chinese FDA

I have been taking brand name Avapro for years, but now that it has gone generic Theexpense has become astronomical. Thinking about going generic ...however worried about side effects. Any generic version I should be aware of? I am so leary of generics and the fillers and overseas manufacturers. ## Hi Henrietta, Based on my research Avapro made by Solco healthcare U.S. is based out of Cranbury, New Jersey. It appears that this is where their headquarters is located according to the company's webpage. You are right though about generics being a little iffy when it comes to the fillers and side effects. However there's really no way to know for sure how any generic/brand is going to effect you until you try it. If you're used to taking the brand name, it would probably be easi...

I had a heart attack 6 months ago and my doctor put me on Carvedilol 6.25 mg. My pharmacy used the pills made by Solco Healthcare. They changed manufacturer's to ZYDUS Pharmeceuticals this month and it doesn't keep my blood pressure down as good. I can't seem to find a pharmacy near me that carries the Solco Healthcare brand of Carvedilol 6.25mg. How can I find a pharmacy anywhere that carries that? I tried calling their home office in NewJersey and was told they don't know as they sell to drug wholesalers who in turn sell to the pharmacies. ## I am very sorry about the problem you're having, however, the only thing you can do is call around or visit different pharmacies to ask. The medication a pharmacy carries, at any given time, can vary depending on who was offer...

My Furosemide dose continues at three 20mg pills twice a day, but a change occurred with the manufacturer. It was Westward (54 840) and now it's Solco Health (V 3169). My daytime blood pressure is now dropping. Is there any correlation between this and the differences in pills? Both are 20mg tablets. ## How low is it dropping? Have you made any other changes to your diet, or lifestyle? Sometimes, as ones blood pressure gets lower, medication doses need to be lowered to keep it from going too low. Are you also making sure that you are staying hydrated? Furosemide works by removing excess fluid from the body, and if you become dehydrated, that will also cause your blood pressure to drop. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, and increased urination.

I found in my medicine bag a white oblong pill thicker than my regular 10/325 norco and wondered if from a sifferent manufacturer. One side has an upside down 1 next side has 255 ## Carvedilol 6.25 mg (made by Solco Healthcare LLC.) comes in a white oblong/oval shaped tablet with 255 on one side and blank on the other. I wonder if this drug manufacturer known as Solco could've made any changes to the appearance of their tablet or perhaps produces other white oblong pills with 255 on one side and an upside down 1 on the other... How large is the base of this '1' (the bottom part)? If it is upside down, that could possibly resemble a "J". Is it truly apparent that this is actually an upside down 1 or might it be some other letter or symbol? You may want to try taking t...

It's a white round pill with the imprint P 20 and a line going through the middle on one side, and it's blank on the other side. ## The 20 is an indication of the dosage. I have similar pills that are a generic brand of the anti-anxiety medication Lexapro 20ml ## Hi Kelly, I just wanted to confirm that the white round pill marked with P 20 is in fact reported to be Escitalopram oxalate (20mg) - the generic for Lexapro.
