At night, ...

I have been on Losartan for about 6 months now and can't take it anymore. I am having pain in all of my joints and it now has moved to my sternum. My doctor can't believe it is from the medication, but surprise.....when I don't take it I feel fine. It usually takes a few weeks to get out of my system. I had to do the same thing with another HBP medicine before. Losing weight, eating right, and exercising is the only way to go. Don't keep financing the Pharmaceutical companies. ## Hello, Lesley! How are you feeling now? I'm sorry that the Losartan was making you miserable. It really sounds like you don't have a very understanding doctor. I am on blood pressure medication (Losartan) and I want to take a Tylenol for a headache. Can I take it? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Losartan and Tylenol (Acetaminophen). This does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist. However, I haven't found any reason why it wouldn't be safe to take together in my own investigation. If in doubt still, I would encourage you to contact your doctor or pharmacist just to be on the safe side. Hope this helps! ## If I take loser tan can I take Tylenol for a headache ? ## Is there a drug interaction between losartan and tylenol pm? I would like to take tylenol pm for pain at night.
I started Losartan (50 mg/1 per day) in May, after battling the Lisinopril cough for 2 months. I have had a lot of pain in my feet and my achilles tendon on one ankle. Also, what about fatigue? Thank youi. ## Hello, CJ! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Yes, it could be due to the Losartan, it does sometimes cause these types of issue as side effects in some people that take it. What do you consider to be plenty of water? This medication can cause increased urination, as reported by the FDA, so you still may need to take in some extra fluid to make up for what goes out each day. Are you on any other medications? I am so sorry that you're in pain. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain, and hypotension. As to your iron level, many blood pressure drugs can affect those results, so it might not be accurate. Are you feeling fatigued regularly? I was prescribed Losartan 50 mg for a heart condition 10 months ago For the last month I have been having extreme left leg pains waking me up at least twice every night. Since taking Losartan I have put on weight, suffered muscle cramps and insomnia but decided I would live with them for 12 months when my doctor will review . But the pain in my leg is no joke any longer. ## Why are they making you wait a year for a review? Usually, when someone has a heart condition, they are checked very frequently for the first few years. Things do not normally go to a one year check up, unless the person has remained stable for a long period of time. When I first had heart failure, I started out seeing the doctor every two weeks, then went to once a month, then once every 2 months, and so on. It took...
