Los Angeles
93 Topics FoundMy name is Jim and I recently moved (January) from Detroit here to Los Angeles. For the past 7 years I have been taking 30 mg oxycodone (not contin) for my debilitating headaches. I do have a doctors verification and my medical records to back me up Up to now I have been using the ERs for medical treatment. Because I have to go so often and I don't want to risk being labeled a drug addict, I find myself using different names sometimes to avoid this. I HATE that I have to do this. These headaches are keeping me from holding down a job. They are truly debilitating. Please know that I do not get a "high" from this medication. It only helps me function in this world. If you can offer any suggestions, I would be greatly appreciative. ## Hi Jim, I may not have a doctor I can refer...
My pharmacy and spine doctor are both very reputable. I went in as normal to get my 45 duragesic (fentanyl) patches in 50 mcg strength and was told pharmacy is out of stock and cannot order anymore! Each and every pharmacy says they have it and when I go in to get the prescription filled they say they are out. The range is Walgreens, CVS, hospital pharmacies, you name it and I have spent all day on buses to other locations. I live in SFV and Santa Monica. I called the Attorney General, the Governor, the manufacturer, DEA - no one will talk and most say they are unaware of the problem. All pharmacies tell me they are unable to order them. What is going on? I must be targeted for some reason and have asked. No one is complaining or posting any concerns. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS. I AM SENIOR W...
I'm trying to find an oxicodone doctor, where can I go with no medical records and where to fill it ## Hello, Jess! How are you? There is no such thing as an Oxycodone doctor. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it, but it is a controlled substance, so there are special regulations in place to try to keep it under tighter control. Thus, it is just not possible to walk into a doctor, without any records and walk out with a prescription for it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, getting them to refer you to someone would likely be the easiest way of finding the help you need.
Hey guys so please dont just respond to this with a bunch of off topics stuff but heres my situtation. I just moved to Los Angeles (Venice to be exact) from florida. Now in florida i have been seeing a pain management Dr for over 4-5 years. Always the same one and he wrote me a prescription for double my monthly amount which is 150 so he gave me two of those when i moved here and then a script for 10 8 mg suboxone but he warned me that if i fill the script for the suboxone a lot of pharmacies arent going to like seeing that because they think you have drug problems and are trying to get clean or something like that so i literally have about 5 days left of meds and not only have to find a DR but i have to fill and i dont know how it is in cali compared to florida but in florida some time...
Filed under OxycodoneDoes anyone know where a orthomolecular doctor is in Los Angeles? ## Hello, There are plenty of orthomolecular doctors in the LA area. Below is a link to a large list of orthomolecular doctors by state and city: NOTE: you may need to scroll down a little before you reach the Los Angeles section. They have them in pretty much every city around LA, like beverly hills, malibu, wilshire blvd, santa monica, hollywood, etc. :) Please post back if there's anything else I can help you with. ## I need to know the orthomolecular doctors in LA area.
I just lost my health insurance and need to find a new pain management doctor because I cannot afford the out-of-pocket expense to see mine any more... Can someone PLEASE hook me up with a legit doctor that won't freak out when I tell him/her what kind of pain medication I need...? I don't need a doctor who just assumes I'm an addict because I ask him/her for a specific pain medication by name that I take for legit pain... I was laid off; money is tight so I cannot bounce from doctor to doctor trying to find one willing to prescribe me my pain medication... I'm 110% legit... I have CT scans, MRIs, past medical records, etc... If you can seriously help me out with a doctor please let me know the doctor's name and phone number so I can set up an appointment with him/he...
Turns out I'm deadly allergic to the Mallinckrodt generic to the point of going to the ER for epinephrine. Pharmacies won't order the Aurobindo for me, so I've been calling and going to various pharmacies for it and have had no luck. I live in West Los Angeles, but I'll consider further pharmacies. Thank you ## If you provide them with documentation of your allergy, they should be able to order it in for you. The only difference I can find between them, however, is that the product from Aurobindo doesn't contain stearic acid, which is an inactive ingredient in the product from Mallinckrodt. Stearic acid is a saturated fatty acid that is used in a lot of products. What has your doctor advised? Have you had any allergy testing done to get a definitive answer on what ca...

Looking to get stronger meds. Shots of steroids do not help. I strictly want to get on a pain management plan taking minimal pills a month. Does anyone know of a compassionate doctor who will prescribe norcos in the Los Angeles area? I have a lower back issue that is inoperable (without consequences) and need them to just be a functioning adult again. ## If you have a serious pain issue and have x-rays, medical records and /or a MRI Dr. Benoush Zarrini is a great pain management doctor, who will work with you in your medications, make sure he knows exactly how much pain you are in!!!!! Stay away from the epidermals, unless you think they will help, he highly recommends them. I refuse and stick to my regiment of pain meds! P.S. don't use my name ## Need help finding a place to get a new MRI that is affordable and works with patients without health insurace.. My old MRI is from 2008 and my dr is finally pulling the trigge...
Hi, I'm a chronic pain patient and have been taking this medication for about 4 months, but this last time I have not been able to find any pharmacy to fill my prescription at. Is there anyone who knows a pharmacy in or around los angeles or neighboring cities that will fill an rx for 60 30mg oxycodone? I can't drive around and shop store to store since the pain I am in prohibits me from doing so. I've been to about 20 places without luck. Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you! ## I need a pain doctor in Phoenix. I just found out all the pain. management places are really rehab's so I don't go to them. I'm not a criminal, I've been a regular patient for 4 years. My pain med doc just up and dumped me because my pain was too high in one arm and i a...
I love in Los Angeles County and I need to know where can I get oxycodone 30 mg filled I am in a lot of pain. ## I'm sorry, but there is no database that lists what pharmacies have any given medication in stock, though it would be great if there were. There has been a shortage, though it should resolve very soon. Learn more Oxycodone details here. The only suggestion I can really make is that if you can't get it filled anywhere, you may need to talk to your doctor about using an alternative medication in the meantime. Have you checked various local pharmacies?
Please assist me with finding a pharmacy in Los Angeles that will fill 20 mil oxycontin ## Antelope Valley ## Where in antelope valley? ## Hi, well I posted that last night frm the many efforts Ive made to fill my prescription for Oxycontin OP 20 mg. I can tell u I was able to fill 120 10mg Percocets at Walmart in Palmdale on 10th Street West on Oct. 8th (a week & a half ago), which was only prescribed for me as substitute for the 20 mg Oxycontin OP Im used to until I can somehow get those filled somewhere. I dunno if ur willing to sub for now but, even tho it cost me $224 (w Medicare) cuz they arent contracted w my particular Dr. frm downtown LA, I promise its worth it, & anything is better than nothing. Walmart, however, doesnt carry them Oxycontin, cvs doesnt take out of the ...
i would like a list of Pharmcacies that will fill oxycodone 30mg IR.in and around Los Angels Ca. ## I am sorry, but there is no central listing of pharmacies that have any particular medication in stock. It would be virtually impossible to keep such a list updated anyway, as it would be very dynamic information. Additionally, there is no 30mg immediate release Oxycodone, this dosage is only available in the regular release or time released formulation. The IR is only available in a 5mg capsule. Learn more Oxycodone details here. What reason has your pharmacy given for not being able to fill it? ## You are totally wrong on the not having an instant release Oxycodone 30 mg. I've been taking it for almost 14 years now. The instant release is called Oxycotin that comes in 40 & 80mg....
I have been on pain meds since 2005 for tendinosis, and more recently for DDD and a herniated L5 to S1. I have been taking six Norco 10's a day since 2008, and usually had no problems getting my scripts filled until recently. It seems pharmacies are getting scared of these new laws. I was using Walmart for several months until today they said they weren't taking any scripts from my doctor because of "lack of communication and because he writes to many scripts for pain meds". Yes, he writes many scripts for narcotics because he's a pain specialist! And I'm sure if he ran a clinic for diabetics he would write lots of scripts for diabetes! I swear, this narcotics scare is driving people nuts! Anyway, I'm so sick of all this craziness. I just want a pharmacy that...
I urgently need to find a doctor in Santa Monica for prescription of subutex can anyone help me. ## If it's of any help still, I was able to locate a good number of doctors in the Santa Monica area that are known for prescribing Suboxone. I posted a few of them below, thinking that they may also be well versed in other similar treatment options, such as Subutex: Lawrence M. Weinstein, M.D. 1315 LIncoln Boulevard Suite 250 Santa Monica, CA 90401 (310)496-5505 Matthew Alexander Torrington, M.D. 1315 Lincoln Boulevard Suite 250 Santa Monica, CA 90401 (310)496-5505 Evelina L. Weinstein, M.D. 1315 Lincoln Blvd Suite 250 Santa Monica, CA 90401 (310)496-5505 Jokichi Takamine, M.D. 726 Santa Monica Boulevard Suite 216 Santa Monica, CA 90401 (310)656-2544 I hope this helps and wish you good ...
Do anyone out there know where I can get oxycodone 30mgs filled at in Los Angeles? I've been in a lot of pain due to my injuries and need to get my rx filled soon so I can get back to my boss and understand what's going on but I don't know how many days he will let me keep takin' off. If anyone out there can help me this will be really appreciated. ## Did you ever find somewhere? If not, I can help. I'm relatively new here (August 2016), however I was immediately able to establish a Dr. & pharmacy that fills my script every month. ## Hi TitanChamp, I am new to The Los Angeles area and would like to get your Dr and Pharmacy contact so I could get my Percocet refilled. I have prior med records and prescriptions but no refills available. Thanks ! ## Titanchamp- can ...
I am in Los Angeles on business and ran out of my Adderall XR 20mg. My doctor in DC sent me a script but no one will fill it due to a new CA law. I need a doctor in Los Angeles to write a new script so I can fill it. I am now out and need it as soon as possible. I have the current out of state script and the DC doctor to prove my history. Please help! ## What new law? I live in L.A.- can your doctor call it in? Or usually if u are a longstanding user, your pharmacy (if it has a location here where you are ex: CVS, WALGREENS) will give you the supplemental supply. Usually a 2-day supply. ## Nope you cant have it called in. Its a Level 2 Controlled Substance. They won't get confirmation from my doctor. It apparently has to come from a California doctor. Trust me, I went to 4 different...
I have an allergic reaction to the Teva oval adderall and I am having the hardest time finding any pharmacy in my area that has Sandoz or CorePharma 30 MG IR Adderall in stock. I live in West Hollywood. Does anyone know of any pharmacies I can get my script filled with either of these two generics? Thanks! ## Hi Billy, Unfortunately I don't live in the LA area so I'm unsure of where you could get your prescriptions filled there. However, if you continue to have no luck getting your prescriptions filled locally, would you open to trying an online pharmacy that can ship you your meds? You may have to wait for shipping, but it's better late than never. :) I personally haven't used this method for getting a prescription, but I know there are a handful of sites out there that...
I need a dr that will prescribe heavy pain meds and Xanax in the Pasadena California area. ## I'm sorry, but there is no directory of physicians according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Additionally, due to the new directives set forth by the DEA last year, you'll need to see specialists to have such medications prescribed, so in your case, that would most likely be one doctor for pain management and a psychiatrist for the Xanax. The FDA classifies Xanax as a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Do you currently have a PCP that may be able to refer you to someone? If so...
