Loratadine False Positive

I went to the hospital today and tested positive for amphetamines in my urine. I have NOT had Methamphetamine in 4 years! I don't understand! I am worried sick about this because they diagnosed ME WITH ILLEGAL DRUG USE/ABUSE! I take prescription Loratadine (not Loratadine D). I looked it up to see about if it can show in my urine as amphetamines and saw that it could. I called them back to tell them this and they said IF I knew I didn't put it in my system, to chill out! I tested positive for opiates during my weekly urine test. For the record i had been taking some medicine such as loratadine/hydroxyzine and anarex days before my weekly urine test. I want to know whether these medicine or substances can render my urine specimen to be positive?

Dr took away pain meds (oxycodone) after getting presumptive positive(A) FOR amphetamines. Two weeks ago he prescribed me OTC allergy meds. I got lortadine tabs and was taking one a day. I went to the Dr (er) for getting sick and disoriented at work. They ambulanced me to another hospital afraid I had an infection going to my brain. They had found trace of leukocyte esterase in ua. They then did lumbar puncture at this hospital. Had me on no iv or monitors whatsoever and sent me home with diagnosis of headache and disorientation. I am on several different medications and never had an issue. Always came back clean. I recently had several severe asthma attacks so my PCP prescribed Proair inhaler, spirivia respimat, and Loratadine 10mg. My urine screen came back positive for Morphine! I am very confused and told the doctor that the only difference is what is written down. He then told me my count was 1670. I do not have anything to show as an example for the 100 acceptable count; the rest of the readings were 0,0,0,0,0, down the page. I have tested positive for benzos three times in the past month (urine). I take over the counter loratadine (10 mg./day), tylenol, and prescription prozac (20 mg./day). Could any of these be causing the false positive or the combination of these? ## From what I could gather, all three of those medications are known to cause false positives for Amphetamines, but I haven't seen anything yet suggesting Benzos... Regardless of that, you, yourself, know that you didn't take what showed up on that test. On the cheaper, less reliable tests, it seems like anything is possible. False positives are known to occur on them anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. I'm taking gabapentin, cymbalta, celexa, bachlaphen, vitamin C, zinc, morphine, valium, vancomycin, will any of these or acombination of any of them make a false positive for meth, ## I'm taking Cymbalta, ibuprofen, retinadine, Nasonex, Loratadine and over the counter Acetaminophen/Tylenol. Hello there. I am showing up positive for oxazepam and I had never heard of it before now. I take Lamictal, Lyrica, Neurontin, Clonidine, Potassium, loratadine, 800 mg ibuprofen, Magnesium, Vitamin D, and a multivitamin. Anybody know why? Hello my name is Shanna. I have some really serious concerns about a failed drug test. Maybe someone can help me. I take quite a few over the counter meds. But here it goes, sinus congestion and pain, nasal decongestant p.e., acid controller, acetaminophen, allergy relief loratadine, and also prescription stool softener and ranitidine 150mg. So can any of these show a false positive for benzos or methamphetamine? Thank u so much for your time.

On suboxone and take naproxen for pain and have 2 drug tests showing positive for opiates. Dr said naproxen won't cause a positive for opiates. The suboxone shows positive for buprenorphine and I haven't taken any other opiates. Previous drug screens when I was taking naproxen showed negative for opiates. ## My tcup UA indicated a positive result for opiates, naproxen, gabapentin and loratadine! I've never done opiates in my life of any kind.

could taking Claritin-D give a false positive for meth on a urine test ## According to askdocweb, the answer to your question is yes. Well today I tested positive for benzodizepines I am in pain management and my Dr. Said h is sending my urine for further testing. I am not taking benzodizepines can you tell me if what I am taking could be causing a false test? I take trazodone, methocarbamol, morphine, celebrex, gabapentin, methadone, vyvance, metoprolol, furosemide, estradiol, diphenhydramine, a multivitamin, cranberry, b super maxi complex, zinc, potassium gluconate, vitamin d3, biotin, C, and E, loratadine what ever on sale for seasonal allergy's, modafinil besides the vitamins I don't take all of these every day only as needed. I had a urine test and it came back positive for Methamphetamine, and I don't do drugs. I have been taking Flonase, Cetrizine, Loratadine, Omeprazole, and Protonix. Which one of these could've altered my results? My doctor doesn't believe me, and I need to prove her wrong because it's affecting my pain contract.
