Need to know color shape and size of lisinopril tablets by this Mfg Accord. I want to make sure I am taking the right medication. The pills I have has the number 3973 on one side and a v shape on the other. ## This tablet is actually manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, but Accord is a licensed distributor and they do list them as containing 20mgs of Lisinopril. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

Anyways, this is the closest match I found based on the description provided. I have been taking Lisinopril 20 mg from manufacturer Lupin for years. My most recent renewal was the same color and Lupin on one side and 20 on other but the pill is half the size of the one I have been getting. Still says Lupin but I am concerned. I've been using the lisinopril 10 mg by Sandoz for quite some time now and in February 2016, I refilled my prescription and surprise to see a round sd hoped pill instead of the Oval that I used to get so I took it back to the pharmacy and the assured me that the pill was by Sandoz and that they changed the shape from oval to round. ## Hi Dio, Thanks for the heads up on the pill change. Question? My doctor prescribed Bisopr/hctz tab 10/6.25 and Lisinopril 20 mg. The directions are to take 1 tablet twice a day. Does this mean take one pill in the a.m. and one in p.m? ## it generally mean that yes. usually 12 hours apart or around a bout. ## Basically, if the prescription does not specifically say to take it every 12 hours, then you should take it when you wake up, or with breakfast and then take the next dose at dinner time.

I too just received the refill for my Mom's 10 mg Lisinopril tabs from Lupin Pharmacy,and have discovered they are half the size of the ones she has been taking for years. She is 93 years old, is very feeble, and uses a walker to get around. I am extremely concerned about whether or not to give her these new pills as I have read all the side effects people are experiencing. I had been taking 2 tablets of Lisinopril 20 + 12.5 mg HCTZ for almost 20 years. I'm now 60 years old and since my BP is under control, I asked my doctor to take me off the HCTZ. It's been only a week now and I have noticed swelling in my feet and ankles along with a reddish rash. I previously had no side effects from the HCTZ other than dry mouth and skin and frequent urination.
