I take a 50mg of Vyvanse at 6 am still struggling to keep a wake at 10:30 I take a second one at 2 I am still struggling to stay awake at 3:30. I tried 2/50 mg at 6 am still no help. ## Hello, Tommy! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Not every medication works for everyone that tries it, which is why there are usually several choices in any given treatment category, thus, you may need to discuss this with your doctor and try a different medication. Have you ever tried Adderall or Ritalin? They are both very similar stimulants and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and irritability.

So recently I'm on a new combination of drugs. I've been on Lisdexamphetimine(Vyvanse) 70 MG for months now, and i voiced a concern to my doctor about how I didn't feel it lasted long enough. So the other day my doc wrote a script for Methlyphenidate(Ritalin) 10 MG to take in addition to the Vyvanse. I'm curious if anyone else has experience taking multiple stimulants at the same time? If so, I'd love to hear what your experience was like. Any input helps. ## I haven't taken them, but I can tell you that they usually augment each other. my pharmacy would not fill my prescription for omeprazole because I also take vyvanse ## Omeprazole can cause some medications, such as Lisdexamfetamine to be absorbed much faster than they nornally would, which could result in your getting to much of the medication at once. Have you tried talking to your doctor about an alternative? There are also some over the counter items on the market that may be safe for you to use, but you should ask your doctor or pharmacist just to be certain.

does vivan used for ADHD have side effects such as sleepiness, swollen legs and feet, hot flashes, lack of a monthly menestration, and hands and arms that ache a lot? ## DId you mean Vyvanse, which contains the active ingredient Lisdexamfetamine? If so, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible, the aches and swelling could be signs of serious reactions to this medication, which may require proper medical treatment.

Hi, I'm Alex, I live in Spain and I have tdah. It turns out that I have tried all the treatments that exist here in Spain for ADHD and the one that has come closest to treating my symptoms has been lisdexanphetamine in a dose of 70mg + 70mg that is twice the maximum dose. I have researched that in the United States and Canada they use pharmaceutical methamphetamine as a medicine and it is very effective, but here in Spain they do not sell it. My question is this: If I go to Canada or the United States as a tourist, could I be prescribed this by a doctor? The other question is if I can be prescribed it, could I bring the medicine on the plane without having problems with customs? I found S489 in my sons room....he is a student in college and has been told he has some ADD going on. He is a smart kid but he strugles during testing. Doesn't get A's...he gets C's on most test. ## This is a 40mg Vynase tablet, it contains Lisdexamfetamine, it is a stimulant used to treat ADHD and Narcolepsy. It can cause side effects, such as: irritability, nervousness, insomnia and anorexia. I just took one ^^ ## The Vyvanse that I've found similar to this has the marking S489 and 70mg, it is manufactured by Shire U.S. and they list it as containing 70mgs of Lisdexamfetamine, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It is a stimulant. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, anorexia, and irritability. However, I cannot find one that is blue and white. The one I mentioned is listed as being blue and orange. Is anyone else familiar with a blue and orange one?

I have been taking Vyvanse 50mg for about 1 1/2 yrs. Recently (2 days ago) I discovered I was pregnant. In researching online their are side effects of the unborn child. Need advice as far as weaning off the Rx all together. Both Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate) and Adderall (amphetamine + dextroamphetamine) are reportedly Central Nervous System stimulants and should have similar effects in that regard. So my guess is that you probably can't go wrong if you've never tried one or the other before, since trial and error is the only proven way to know what works best for you.
