Been having sinus issues, possibly related to long term pill pain meds.... As a test, my orthopedist prescribed 120ml of 7.5/325 liquid hydrocodone to see if would help my sinus. Dosage is 6ml every 4 to 6 hours for pain. Was previously taking 5/325 Norco pills 3 times per day. While seemingly helping with my sinus, the liquid isn't helping my pain as much? What would the name be on a bottle of liquid hydrocodone for being 5 mg ## Hi Carol, The only brand names I'm aware of are Lortab Elixir, Liquicet, and Tussigon. However, Lortab Elixir and Liquicet contain a combination of Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen; and not just Hydrocodone by itself. Tussigon also comes with Homatropine methylbromide, which is added to discourage overdosing. One other brand name containing the same ingredients as Tussigon is Hycodan, but this has reportedly been discontinued in the US. What brand name did you receive from your doctor?

Experation dates on it ... 4/3/10... Is this medicine till good to use . ## It doesn't get dangerous after the expiration date, however, it will begin to lose effectiveness, so you may not get the same relief that the regular dose provided when it was a fresher product. What are you using it for?

On the prescription bottle it states something like 5 ml equals Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminphen 325 mg. 1 ml equals 1 cc. It is always best to use a spoon or syringe that is designed to be used to measure liquid meds. Regular spoons vary too much and you can't be sure of the dosage.

If i add water to fill the bottle up more in liquid hydrocodine will it be noticeable that i added water to it? ## It most likely will be, because it will affect it in three ways.
