i think the pharmacy may have given me the wrong meds. their round, white, and have 33 over 334 on them. plz help. thks. ## their supposed to be klonopin. ## Are they supposed to be generic? I just got 2mg klonopin with TEVA on 1 side and 834 on the other. I know they make them with this imprint, but when I took it and it didn't taste very minty. It tasted like nothing really, just powdery. I'm worried they might be counterfeit klonopins out of something weird. Does klonopin always taste noticeably minty? What's the possibility that these are bad? ## From what I could gather, most people are saying that Klonopin has an almost "minty-sweet" taste/smell to it, with no real chemical aftertaste. I have 5 pills that are yellow and round with V on one side with the numbers 3540 on the other they are supposed to be Klonopin, can someone tell me? ## The closest matching "klonopin" (clonazepam) I've seen has an imprint of V on one side and 2530 on the other (sitting over a score line). These are round light-yellow pills containing a dose of 0.5mg. Ive had extreme anxiety and frequent panic attacks for years, and every psychiatrist i have seen has just given me antidepressants or buspar, and none of them even take the edge off. I have been on most benzos. I find that 2mg Klonopins help both my anxiety and neuropathy real well. I have been tagged with an addictive personality. Here's the problem. It's the only medicine that works. That being said "I get nothing for my relief. I have to obtain these meds through other means". I'm 64 and I'm tired of doing this. I was wondering If you have seen klonopin's have a v on one side and the word Teva on the other.? ## To my knowledge none of the klonopin tablets have such markings. Generic klonopin (clonazepam) is the closest match I could find that has a "Teva" imprint on it. A round yellow pill marked TEVA 832 is identified as Clonazepam 0.5 mg. Hi as everyone who takes brand name Klonopin knows its on backorder. I have try the generic it don't work for me.. But that is at the same mg as the Brand. I have been prescribed Remeron 15mg and Klonopin 0.5 for anxiety and lack of sleep. After 40 days I still have too much anxiety and racing thoughts to fall asleep, and I've gained no weight. So my Dr put me on Seroquel XR 150 mg one week ago (Aug 14) and will be able to fill a new Rx for Ativan to try on Aug 30 once the Klonopin Rx is "completed". The Klonopin no longer helps with anxiety as I get those dreaded warm rushes of pain the fill my face, neck, chest, and arms even after I take one. My Drs Nurse Practitioner in all her glory decided that after 27 yrs on Benzos (12 on Xanax & the last 15 on 4-6mg per day, I no longer needed it. HAHA So stupid of her. For 4 mths I have gone thru withdrawls frm hell! Tried calling her & my Dr and they wont return my calls. I have to talk to tbe receptionist only. After looking up Klonopin under search for inactive ingredients, I immediately saw MANNITOL, a Sucrose based sugar/sugar substitute. Look it up on WiKip, it is one of the first lines. ## Thanks for the heads up on this Jank. I understand that there are a number of alternative sweeteners out on the market, many of which aren't actually good for our health. I was prescribed Klonopin 1mg about 3 years ago to help with anxiety and sleep. I wish I would of never started this Benzo! The "Nurse Practitioner" who handles Mental health patients did not educate me on what I was getting myself into. When I started taking it of course it was helping me sleep & somewhat helping the Anxiety. I would see this Nurse Practitioner once a month and I would speak on how I was feeling.
