Hi everyone, I am still on a progressing prootcol of Lyrica. I'm presently at 250mg a day.Till the Lyrica gets to the best pain management dosage, my doctor put me also on 6 acetaminophen (Tylenol) plus codeine a day. My question is "has anyone of you been able to completely get off the Tylenol and codeine after getting to the right dosage of Lyrica? " I am taking the Lyrica for nerve damage due to advanced spinal stenosis. I am also on 100mg of NaproxenE a day. Hi - I was taking Codeine for a number of years for severe pain, i was told i was suffering with osteoarthritis and eight Cocodamol a day did not touch the pain, whilst i was taking Codeine i was angry and little did i know my BP was very high, it was only when my BP was taken that i found out my BP was touching 200/ to cut a long story short after seeing a Neurologist and having tests it was discovered that my pain was being caused by Hereditary Motor Sensory Peripheral Neuropathy, i was taken of Codeine and put on Lyrica and Tramadol, my pain is now controlled i am no longer angry and my BP has been normal ever-since. So the story is this if you are taking any medication containing Codeine and are suffering with HIGH BP it may well be Codeine, so mention this to your doc. Warm Regards...

I am taking Naproxen, Lyrica and Naproxen. I was wondering what would happen if I can a couple of alcoholic drinks ## It would be best to refrain from imbibing, while taking prescription medications. However, if your doctor approves of your doing so, you should be aware that the FDA warns that it could potentiate the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness, than usual. Thus, please make sure that you will not be driving or operating any dangerous machinery. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is there anyone out there that has allergic reactions to most pain meds? I can't take morphine, codene, nsaids, antibioctics, vitimins, sulfa, neurontin & prednisone.I have been on fentenal patches, & vicodin which does nothing for my pain. Now that vicodin is off the market they gave me the substitute norco 7.5 350mg. They suck. I know everything acetimin has been cut to 325mg but do these law makers realize we are just going to have to take more pills to get out of any pain? Next time I go to the dr. they will need me to be on the 10's.I don't think there are to many people like me, but in case there is does anyone know of some other pain med thats available? I just tried lyrica and thought it would kill me. I have MS, a bone disease that is life long and no cure, ...
