Hi. I've been using althea pill, and I'm in my 5th month now. But lately, I notice that I always get an itchy vulva. Could it be an effeevt if the pill also? For the past year I have been suffering from intense vaginal itching. I have tried monistat and other medications, but nothing is helping. I took low dose Bactrim for 5 weeks for a UTI. While on it I started having vaginal burning. Called Dr about it who advised me to stop taking it. That was almost 4 weeks ago and still having vaginal pain and burning. Vulva is all red and inflamed. Very little itching. Tested negative for yeast and bacteria. Can't understand why it's gotten worse when I've been off the drug for 4 weeks! ## Are you on any other medications? Are you actively engaging in intercourse? Do you frequently take tub baths, or use a hot tub? There are various reasons why this could occur, according to FDA and NIH reports. Are you diabetic? Do you have any other diagnosed medical conditions? ## Was also on Uribel at the time for bladder pain. Went off that 3 weeks ago. No to all other questions.

hi my vagina is itching on the vulva so I went to the pharmacy they gave me canex v ,when I insert the cream at night ,when i go to urinate in the morning the cream come out,is it working? ## Hello, Jaine! my virgina is itching around vulva, i went to the pharmacy and they gave me canex v cream cant i just apply it only around vulva since it is not itching on the inside? ## No, using it that way will not effectively eradicate a yeast infection, if that's what is causing the itching. To do that, it needs to be inserted inside your vagina, just as instructed. Have you consulted your doctor to confirm whether or not you have a yeast infection?

I am suffering from fungal infection I guess... Because after my periods immediately I started getting rashes, itching, redness and burning sensation in my vulva. I was suggested to use v wash for cleaning which will decrease the pain, then I was suggested to use candidate b cream but as per my information it has to be applied externally.. But I tried using it..it didn't completely work but the pain is decreased to some extent.. So I would like to know that if I am applying this cream internally will it work to decrease my pain.. Or can it cause some injury to my vaginal tissue..??
