Tramadol is a prescription opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain in adults. It works by binding to opioid receptors in the brain and affecting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, which influence how your body perceives pain. Tramadol may be habit-forming and should only be used under close medical supervision.

is tramadol tan capsule an617 the same as white one 334 my hemorrhoids are bleeding could this be why? ## Hello, Phyllis! How are you? These both contain 37.5mgs of Tramadol with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If the medication has caused constipation and you're straining to have a bowel movement, that may cause your hemorrhoids to become irritated and result in some bleeding, the same if your stool is just harder than usual. Have you had this checked out, yet?

I too have increased energy and cheerfulness with a single 50 mg Tramadol. When I don't take it for a day I am very lethargic and ache. I try not to take it more than a few days in a row. The doctor is surprised at the side effects. Thank you to those who shared a similar experience. I had been wondering if this was my imagination. I hope to stay off it several days to see if my usual energy returns as it did eventually the last time I didn't take it for several days. It's a great mild pain reliever, but the mood alteration concerns me. ## Hi, Suellen! How are you? The classification for Tramadol has changed several times over the years, right now it is once again classified as an opioid and they can cause increased energy and euphoria in some people that take them. is Tramadol contains any opiates ? ## Tramadol is narcotic! Some have different views on it but it is 100% narcotic with opiate traits. This medicine should be used with lots of caution, the doctors make it out like its non-addictive, but it is truly addictive as any other narcotic. But there are some good things that come from tramadol, and just as this year they are now finding it naturally produced in relatively high concentrations in the roots of the African Pin Cushion Tree. Just know it can be abuse very easy! Thanks ## Hello, Hokaz! How are you? Justin is correct, thank you Justin! Tramadol is classified as an opioid analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming. When creating it, researchers tried to take an opiate and remove the addictive potential to prevent abuse, bu...

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and dizziness. Is tramadol and zero same? can it be used as tramadol....... can it be abused like tramadol...please reply me fast ## No, they are not. Tramadol is a medication itself. It is a mild opioid that is used to treat pain. The NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Zerodol, however, is a brand name for a combination medication that contains Paracetamol, Aceclofenac and Serratiopeptidase. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. No, it is not commonly abused and is not habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor believes there will not be a problem using these 2 together; perhaps it just diminished ultram's effect only. Has anyone ever taken the two together and can assure me that might be the only effect? ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? The Bupropion in the Contrave can increase the effect of Tramadol, while the Naltrexone can decrease it, but those are the only issues listed by the FDA between these medications. The FDA classifies Tramadol as an opioid and warns that it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Contrave may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, nervousness and anorexia. Can anyone that's taken them together chime in with their experience? ## Thank you sooo much...

I was prescribed Tramadol Sandoz Capsules 50mg for Urinary Tract Infection. After researching the drug I am wondering if this is the correct drug as it does not appear to be an antibiotic? ## No, it is not. I mostly read stories of people having problems about drugs. Side effects, unavailability, cost, etc. I have chronic pain from longstanding injuries in Vietnam that create more pain as I am in my 70th year. I have taken most anti inflammatory meds, opioids, electrical stimulation, etc. over the last 5 decades. Tramadol is the only medicine that relieves enough pain while allowing me to function during the day. I have taken Tramadol exclusively for at least 5 years. The best benefit, aside from pain relief, is non-escalating doses. I began taking 50 mg 3 times a day. Today I take 100 mg 3 times a day, which has been my dose for the last 2 years. Previous drugs, with oxycodone or hydrocodone inevitably required higher daily intake resulting in decreased effectiveness and constipation, irr...

I am 70 years old and have taken the following 3 medications for the past 4 years, hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 T(1 tablet 4 times daily), Tramadol 50MG tablet(1 tab 4 times daily), Fentanyl patch 75 mh (change patch every 3 days). Jan 2017 my insurance stop paying for the Tramadol and hydrocodone unless I went through a pain clinic, I did go to a pain clinic. The pain clinic refused to prescribe both Tramadol and hydrocodone indicating a new law that will not allow it. The new opioid regulation indicates this level is to be monitored and know and understand the symptoms they are prescribed for, but the pain clinic indicate this level is above the limit and I do not need it. I have suffered from juvenile RA since I was 4 years old then degenerative rheumatoid arthritis my entire life,

The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If it wasn't prescribed for her, you should consult her dentist or doctor regarding what she can take. Ibuprofen or Tylenol may help. Holding ice against that area can also ease the soreness.
