Which is stronger Lortab or Roxicet? And how are they different? They are both 3/325. ## There is no 3mg dosage, the lowest these come in is 5mgs. Now the difference between these is the narcotic. Roxicodone contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and Lortab contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. I take Lortab 10's, Fentanyl 100mg patch every 3 days and Ibuprofen. I stay in constant pain and wanted to know what I could switch to that would be stronger and help with my constant pain. I'm trying to manage pain for degenerative stenosis and see that hydrocodone is usually in 5 or 10 mg pills, while oxy, which is supposedly 2+ times stronger, is in 20 , 30 or 40 mg pills. What am I missing here? ## Originally, since it has the Acetaminophen added, the Hydrocodone products, such as Vicodin, Lortab and etc. were meant to be only for short-term use. Just to treat pain that was expected to resolve in a week or two, such as what someone may experience after they've had surgery or been in an accident. If you take Lortab 10 mg can you take Percocet 10 -650 are they the same? Cause I went to my doctor today and they changed my meds from Lortab to the Percocet and I'm scared to take them? ## The only way to find out if you can take something without having any problems from it is by trying it. What is the difference in percocet 10/325 and lortab 10/500, I know the amount of tylenol is different, but I've taken both and the lortab seem to work better than the percocet. Is one stronger than the other? ## Lortab contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. Percocet contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Oxycodone. So, it might just be that the Hydrocodone works better for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I usually take 5 10/325mg doses of Lortab once daily. How big of a difference would it be to take 5 10/325mg doses of Percocet? Or should I just take 3?

What is the difference between Norco, Percocet and Lortab? I have a script for all three. I have cancer and wondered which one is the strongest. I don't need all three pain meds if one is better than the other. Thank you. ## Hey CLM, the Norco and Lortab both contain the active ingredient hydrocodeine so basically the same medicine just different brand name. Unless they are a different dose 5/325 vs 10/325 then they are the exact same medication. Percocet contains oxycodone as the active narcotic and is stronger than the other two you mentioned. One may work better than the other for you personally but Percocet is the stronger of them. I recently, had my med changed from vicodin 7.5mg 5xqd to lortab 10-500mg tablet. 5xqd question is, "Is the lortab a higher dose of medication than the vicodin. ## Lortab and Vicodin both contain Hydrocodone, a synthetic opiate or opioid, as their narcotic analgesic. As such, your dosage strength increase is only in the amount of pills you are now taking, not in the opioid ingredient. Oxycodone, used in Percocets and OxyContin, is slightly stronger . . . a 5/325 Perc is equivalent to a 7.5 Lortab.
