I used to take Watson percocet 10/325, until it was bought over by Activis. I have since been on Malinkridot (sp); which is not as effective, but ok. Now all of a sudden Ive been told that the only generic they will use/order is by Rhodes.... I cannot find any information on that brand, or why the change. i assume it is because of cost, but any information would be much appreciated. Been taking painkillers ( vicodin, lortab, lorcet ((discontinued)), and Norco for many years. Skiing, motorcycles, etc. Whe I started the Norco, I got them from cvs. Found out that the ones manufactured by Malincrodt were completely ineffective when compared to the Watson product. My Doc has me on the pink k56 oxy now. I picked them up, reluctantly, from cvs because of the insurance Discount. Only able to get coverage for 90 although I had a prescription for 120. My question is does anyone know if the ones I have (manufactured by KVK-Tech INC) are going to be a waste of time like the Malinkrodt norcos were. I know its not my imagination. The new white Norcos give me about 10-20% (if that) of the pain relief my former pills did & for an 1 hour vs 3. They primarily make me sleepy, nauseous & so far there is no alternative. My old pills were fine but just 2 wks ago I got these white ones M366 by Malincroft & noticed a huge difference that first day. I had quality-of-life with the old ones, Its hard enough living with pain, now Since then life is so difficult! I'm discouraged & barely functional. It feels like a placebo! Im not a comspiracy theorist but with all the news about pain pill addiction & drs being sued, I cant help wonder if this is a way to force us to detox, bec since taking these white pills Im in a near-constant state of detox. blue has a k-9 on it ## I was prescribed generic 30mg oxycodone recently and the round blue pill scored on one side had K 9 on the scored side no markings on the opposite non-scored side. Worked like any other 30mg oxycodone I had been given in the past. I’ve gone thru several variants of Percocet 10/325 over the past 20 years, (7 C-spine surgeries and 3 lumbar spine surgeries, and still suffer horrible pain on a daily basis). Endocet is one of the only meds that works for me, doesn’t make me sick to my stomach, nor any side effects. (I haven’t had to have any increases in strength or amount of daily intake, so I’m pleased with the Endocet)... But my cost has gone up to $159 for a one month supply (150 tabs), which is tough for me to handle financially.
