It is both dextroamphetamine and amphetamine combined. I started adderall. Doctor told me to start with 10mg in morning and 5mg 4 hours later. I did this for a few days and felt absolutely nothing. I was the told to up my morning to 20mg. And 10mg 4 hours later. Again ... nothing .... If anything I feel more foggy and super sleepy. I was given this medication for all the reasons it's used for. What could be wrong ?? Not enough mg? I've been taking 20 Mg TID of IR generic Adderall > 10 Yrs. Although some "experts" claim they are very, very habit forming, I MUST disagree. Even after +10 Yrs, I have little problem discontinuing the drug at any point. The same goes for benzodiazepines. Possibly it's because I personally adhere or ingest < is directed or skip for weeks on end. This "abuse potential" may be inherent in some. Personally, I believe it is overstating this possibility to "play it safe". The statement, "Drug abusers typically have the tendency to increase the dosage on their own initiative". i want to stop Adderall which i have been taking for 13 years because it has reached a point that it is not good. if i stop depression creeps in at variable times and lengths and very cunningly which i now can sense . is there any other substance that i can take and stop the Adderall?
