I have irregular periods due to pcod. I didn't have periods from April to July. Then my doctor prescribed me Regestrone. Once I took ten tablets, the periods came. Then from the 11th day of my periods the doctor asked me to take Meprate (one tab daily) for 15 days. Periods came correctly. Then from the 11th day my second course of Meprate started. Now almost two months later I don't have periods after taking Meprate also.. I am really fed up with this.. I'm obese too.. Doctor asked me to take three courses of Meprate. I am 22 yrs old and am an unmarried girl. I am suffering from PCOD since the last 3 years. Hi, I've had abnormal/irregular periods since I started my periods. They've been on and off since day 1. I would go for months without any sign of bleeding or spotting. Three years back I would spot for weeks and after it would be a normal period; last year an unusual spotting started to come in a brown color. It went on for weeks as well. I then went to the nearest clinic n got famynor which stopped the spotting. In between the month of usage the spotting came back as periods and the famynor couldn't stop the bleeding, only to find a huge clot that came out and I thought my problem was solved. I got my periods on the 17th of May. I took MP Forte Capsules on the 24th of June, but my next period has not yet come. I had tested via peganews also but it's negative. ## Why were you taking these tablets? MP Forte contains Paracetamol and Mefenamic Acid, this used to treat pain, fever and swelling. There is nothing in it that will help, if you are having irregular periods. Have you consulted a doctor?
