i know avaibiity of duexis(Ibuprofen+famotidine) worldwide, its manufactured by horizon pharma USA. ## I'm sorry, I know i t was approved by the U.S. FDA in April of this year, however, I don't know where else it is available. This combination is recommended to treat arthritis pain, the Famotidine in it is used to help prevent some of the problems that can occur from long-term use of the Ibuprofen. Duexis combines the NSAID Ibuprofen, with the antacid Famotidine to help prevent the stomach damage that the Ibuprofen might cause. Side effects may include dizziness, headache and drowsiness. Adipex contains the active ingredient Phentermine, it is a stimulant medication used to aid in weight loss. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and elevated heart rate. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have severe bone spurs on my heels and I have been on Duexis for a few years, cutting the dosage to two pills daily from the recommended three. I have recently experienced shortness of breath and cardial infarction symptoms, which I will be getting checked. I recently, because of an annoying rebate program through Horizon Pharma, switched over to ibuprofen and famotidine tabs in an 800/20 mg combination. I read just today that nsaids are now connected to cardial infarction in persons with high propensity (myself). I tore my ACL & MCL And bruised my tibia pretty good. I'm in a lot of pain and swelling. Can these two medicines be taken together every 4 hours. I have a wisdom tooth that's acting up really bad and i've used everything I can think about I haven't been to my dentist yet but I'm in so much pain that I would take anything right about now just for this pain to go away so can I take duexis? ## I am so very sorry about the pain that you're in. This medication is listed as containing Ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and Famotidine, which is an antacid. Thus, it may not do much more to help the pain.
