If I'm allergic to sulfa, can I take Hyoscyamine Su? ## Hi Shannan, Hyoscyamine Su does actually stand for Hyoscyamine Sulfate, so in my opinion it wouldn't be wise for you to take this pill. Hyoscyamine comes as a tablet, an extended-release (long-acting) capsule, and as a liquid to take by mouth, so it seems like there should be other options that allow you to continue taking this medication without jeopardizing your well-being. Is there anyway you can talk to the pharmacy about changing scripts?

How long does it take for hyoscyamine sulfate to work if you are using it for excessive salivation? ## Most medications can take about 4 to 5 weeks to reach their full level of efficacy in the body. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Has there been any change, yet? Are you on any other medications?

Does savella contain salicylates. What about ibuprofen, flexeril, and hyoscyamine sulfate? My wife has a problem with salicylates. ## Unfortunately I can't look up each medication by name to find this out, but what I can provide is information regarding what products or foods generally contain salicylates, and based on this list you can single things out that may or may not be a problem. Blue Capsule with SJ 646 written on it. ## This capsule was called "UTA" and contains the following ingredients: (NDC 45985-646) - Hyoscyamine Sulfate 0.12 mg - Methenamine 120 mg - Methylene Blue 10 mg - Phenyl Salicylate 36 mg - Sodium Phosphate, Monobasic 40.8 mg It was used to treat pain and discomfort associated with urinary tract infections.

It is totally different from the one I usually take. That number is E 423, and when I put it under my tongue, it is immediately dissolved and my throat problems are relieved. The B 325 pill is larger, does not dissolve immediately, and I am afraid to take it. Are they for totally different symptoms?
