hi, my doctor prescribed hydroxyzine 25 mg for sleeping. I stopped taking them for more than 4 months, now I have trouble sleeping and I was wondering if It would be dangerous to start takeing them again? ## Hi ducky, Sorry to hear about your troubles with sleep. In my honest opinion, it's probably not dangerous to start taking something that you were recently prescribed 4 months ago, if you're using it for the same indications as before. However, it would still be wise to discuss this with your doctor first if you have any concerns pertaining to the dosing, potential side effects, and other prescribing information. From what I could gather, Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine most commonly used to treat allergies, anxiety, and motion sickness. But it also has what appears to be an ...

I am currently taking 1-100mg of lamictal once a day, 1-25mg of celexa a day, and 1-.25mg of xanax 3-4 times a day. Is it safe to also take the 1-25mg of hydroxyz pam for sleeping at night? ## Have you consulted your doctor about this? The interaction that I'm finding listed is between the Xanax and the Hydroxyzine, since they both can cause depression of the central nervous system, combining them can increase the risk of that occurring. CNS depression could result in shallow breathing, lowered pulse rate, severe sedation and, in extreme cases, completely circulatory/respiratory shut down.

Hi everyone. My lawyer just called me and said I tested positive on my urine test. I take HYDROXYZINE PAM 50-100mg (for sleep), 15 MG 5 times a day of BUSPIRONE HCL, and CLONAZEPAM 1MG 3 times a day. I’ve never failed a drug test before. I have been taking zquil (alcohol free) for when I’m having a really hard time sleeping. This contains DIPHENHYDRAMINE HCI. I googled it and it said it may cause a false positive for methadone, opiates and PCP. I have never taken any of those ever in my life. Has anyone had this problem before? I’m f***ing pissed because this is supposed to be my last court date. ## I took an allergy medicine that contains diphenhydramine HCI 25mg and I tested positive for pcp.
