Does it increase nervousness? ## Hydodiuril does not make a person nervous. But sometimes I think it deceases testosterone. Not sure. Seems to be a very mild and weak diuretic. You do not see fast results, but you do see SOME results. I probably needed a stonger dosage. I still had amounts of water retention, in legs, even after 3 years, but it was still alot better than it was before.

I was given this prep to use for a colonoscopy (Prepopik). I always tell my doctors that I am allergic to sulfa and penicillin and I know they do not have the time to research all meds at the office visit. Several years ago, I was given Hydrodiuril which had hydrochlorothiazide in it. It was a dedicated nurse that found out why I had such a reaction to Hydrodiuril. I ended up in ICU for 3 days.
