I have a 25 year history of migraines. Prescribed 1 or 2 fioricet every 4 to 6 hrs. Crazy but true, can someone she'd some light? For severe migraine relief, I need to take 2 at once. If at those times I take 1, wait 45 min for relief then take the other, it doesn't work. My experience has been that basically I have to start over, meaning that after that initial 45 min wait, I have to take 2 at one time, hitting the headache quick and hard. Also sometimes you think you will need 2 at the start and end up knowing that that was too much. So clearly, not good. My question is how can this scenario be? And why doesn't hydrocodone even with some caffeine and tylenol work for my migraines? Migraines are such a balancing act. Going to try Depakote, but keep my fioricet close by. ## ...

Why does Fioricet make me throw up and feel loopy, but Norco 7.5mg does not make me feel that way? ## The ingredients are different, so that could explain it. The FDA lists Fioricet as including Acetaminophen, Butalbital, and Caffeine, while Norco is is listed as containing Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. It is also warned that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
