Hydrocodone 7 5 Orange Look A Like Pills

I read many articles claiming that the opiate portion of a Vicodin tablet is in the specks. Any truth? ## Hello, Demetria! How are you? No, it is not true. They colored specks are exactly that, just colored specks that the manufacturer used to make their pills look different than all the others on the market. How a tablet looks is entirely up to their whit and whim. The Medication, however, is dispersed throughout the entire tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What are the orange specks for in the pills? ## Hello, Babs! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I found a few small round orange/ peach pills marked with a fancy V on one side the other side is kind of rubbed off but I do see the scored impression. Dies anyone have a clue as to what these are? ## Can you tell me if the V is stylized like a cursive V, or just a regular V similar to what I've typed here? That would give me a better idea of where to look, since the stylized V is used on prescription medications. Learn more prescription drug details here. ## The "v" is cursive. ## the cursive v is usually hydrocodone. if it has a v on one side and a 3605 on the other side and its scored then it is 7.5/325mg hydrocodone which is a pain medication....i take 5 daily.
