Hydrocod Syrup

i have a headache that seems to not respond to any pain medicine, but when i take hydrocodone alone, i get a little relief, is taking one spoon of hydrocodone every 4hours too much? ## What is the dosage of the syrup and what has your doctor advised? It is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours, as needed, but it really depends on the dosage, your tolerance and whether or not it also contains Acetaminophen, since too much of it in any 24 hour period can be toxic.

There is no expiration date on this cough medicine. It is hydrocodone-chlorpheniram that was filled on 9/2/14. My doctor prescribed it for cough and sinus headache. He said it would help me sleep. However..it doesn't. I'm really tired and it has not helped my headache or to help me sleep. Should I tell my doctor or just hope the antibiotics help fast. He gave me a steroid shot around 11:30 this morning. Could that be what is keeping me up? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you feeling? Has there been any change? Ironically, all 3 of the medications you've mentioned could cause a headache, as a side effect, according to FDA reports and the steroid can cause insomnia. Hi, I was having inconsistent relief with the tabs and my doc switched me to the syrup. The syrup works, but not very long and I've now developed heartburn. Anyone else have that issue? I'm 5'5, weigh 100 pounds and i took 30 mg of hydrocodone syrup. Is that a lethal dose for me? I really need to know. I feel really drowsy right now and sleepy. Which is better,m end syrup or hydromet syrup? ## No one can really honestly tell you how this drug is going to effect you, as they are not you. Not even "you" know how it's going to effect you until you take it. Medications can and usually do affect everyone differently, whereas some people get great results but there are others that it inevitably just doesn't work for no matter how many they take. I have a tropical flavored hydrocodone-apap liquid but it doesn't say the strength?!! How much wud I need to take to equal 1 yellow 10/325 norco? It says take 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hrs for cough. I GOT THIS MED FOR A CHECK INFECTION LAST YEAR. WHY CAN'T MY PHARMACIST FIND IT NOW AND HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO CHERATUSSION AC SYRUP? ## The Hydrocodone APAP shows that it also contains Acetaminophen with the narcotic, this type of syrup/suspension is usually given to treat cough, fever and pain. The only thing it would do for an infection is treat the pain and fever that it may cause, it wouldn't actually treat the infection itself. The Cheratussin AC contains Codeine and Guaifenesin, so it isn't the same, because this would be used mostly to treat cough and cold symptoms. Your pharmacist should be able to find the Hydrocodone/APAP, but do you actually have a prescription for it, or are you just asking them to find it? I would like to know the amount of hydrocodone in a teaspoon dose ## I cannot say that definitively, there are several dose available ranging from 1.67mg per tsp up to 30mgs per tsp. You would need to read the label or ask your pharmacist to know which one you have. ## I need to know if m-end syrup (0667-20-10 MG/5m) contains any type of narcotic, because it will interact with suboxone.

how many mg are in a teaspoon of hydron psc syrup ## Each serving of Hydron PSC Liquid oral solution is said to contain the following dosages: Chlorpheniramine 0.4 MG/ML + Hydrocodone 1 MG/ML + Pseudoephedrine 6 MG/ML To my understanding, that is milligrams per milliliter; and one teaspoon is 5 ml, so if I'm seeing this correctly, you would be getting 5 servings if you took a teaspoon of it. Does that make sense? I hope this info helps!
