What are the levels that are checked other than testasterone levels. I'm using testopel. ## @RDM, According to the manufacturer's website for Testopel, "your doctor may periodically do tests to check for liver damage, as well as any signs of an increased red blood cell count if you are receiving higher doses." I have taken Estratest or generics of same dosage/combination for years after my total hysterectomy with very good results. I work on a cruise ship and am rarely in the US. With the new FDA decision to treat it as a "controlled substance" due to the testosterone and the new prescribing regulations, I am having a VERY difficult time getting my medication and have been having to take other estrogens without testosterone in between my visits to the US. Does anybody know if there is a combination med equivalent to Estratest in other countries? I have been unable to find it in the few I've checked. ## I have never herd of this intil today! I bleed for 81 days. The doctor recommended to take primolut. I took it for 21 das. On 19th Day I bleed A Small amount Of blood. After 2 days from the 21 days I stopped I bleed heavily with clots again. So after 5 days I took again primolut again. All the test before are negative. Why do I bleed too much and blood clots? my body doesn't produce estrogen, resulting in ovarian failure at a young age. i now have to take estrogen (birth control) daily for the rest of my life. i recently went to my doctor and he was concerned that i still have acne, ran a bunch of blood tests, and perscribed me dexamethasone. he said one of my hormone levels is high and this drug should balance it. i've been reading about it and i don't see a connection, only pretty disturbing side effects. i realize i am in an extremely rare situation, but does anyone know anything about this drug that may help me? has anyone had any experience with it? i don't feel comfortable taking it just yet.
