How Strong Is Watson 540 Blue

I have had these white Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-500 T. These are not as strong as the pinkor blue. A lot of powder on them. Still have pain while taking them. When one pill works better for some than others. I Cain 't understand that if that name brand pill would fix the problem at one a day but we have to take the generic taking more and still feeling the pain. Money is as so the root of all evil. Without this money people like me and a whole lot more feel this way to. Will never get well. The medicine does make you better. The generic will help along the way but no you won't get well. I have the white pill and also the blue pill marked with watson 540. Aren't they both the same except for a difference in the acetaminophen? ## Research I have gathered shows they are one in the same pill. Even the milligrams are the same. I found that the blue version of Watson 540 is simply manufactured or distributed by more companies than just Watson. Do you have any other questions or concerns? Two weeks after I started taking the new white watson 10 mg lortab I began to develop blisters on the back of my hands and wrist as well as noticing that they are not near as strong. I used to take 1/2 blue pill in the morning for years but now I need two whole white ones to be able to move around. Sucks!!! is the yellow pill watson 853 as strong as the blue watson 540 ## The tablet with the WATSON 853 marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The tablet with the WATSON 540 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. So, they both contain the same amount of the active narcotic, Hydrocodone, but they do not contain the same amount of Acetaminophen, which improves the effect of the narcotic. Are the Watson 540 blue loritab 10 stronger than pink loritab10 ## From what I could gather, both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies. Because of this, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. If this applies to you: Generic medications are allowed to contain 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) could enable you to have a completely different reaction to each medication. Did you notice any more relief from the Watson's?

Why would a blue lortab 10 turn white? ## Are you certain that it was blue and is a Lortab or the generic equivalent? Are there any markings on it? Some pills may change color if they are coated and get wet, so the color washes off, but I am not familiar with any Lortab made that way. ## If it's a Watson 540, then it didn't "turn" white. Watson Pharmacuticals is changing the color. The white Watson 540 is still a generic Lortab 10/500. The blue Watson 540 will continue to be sold until pharmacy supplies are depleated then Watson will replace them with the white. ## Other than the color change, do you know what else they changed? blue ,oblong with watson 540...bottle read 10/500....but i also have yellow oblong with a V on one side and on the other side is 36/01...on that prescription bottle is 10/325...what is the difference and which is the stongest.. ## They both contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, however, the Acetaminophen does help the Hydrocodone to work better, so the one with 500mgs of it would be stronger.
