Just started meloxicam for arthitis. Have history of cancer, crohns desease, fybromyalgia and side effects from steroids being migrains. My doctor felt this would be a good med for my arthitis. Has anyone had history of migrains with this. I had a migrain issue that lasted for 11 days can this be from this? It has been helping with inflamation. Which is a big plus. I'm hoping this is a fluke but i m nervous abut starting up on it again? I do have a history of migrains prior to this med. Just wondering if this trigerd it? I took meloxicam for some joint and back pain. I took a 15mg pill yesterday and it really helped with the pain. I also have been dealing with some anxiety but haven't had an attack in a while til last night. I also felt at a point at work like the building I was working in was moving which may have been a dizzy spell. I guess in just wondering if the meloxicam has ever caused anyone to have an anxiety attack or to become dizzy? ## Hello, Matt! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you had. I am taking this for extreme pain in my shoulder & arm. How long does it take for this to take affect? Will I have to keep taking it to be able to work? My right arm is still not as good as my left arm. I had bunion surgery 7 wks ago. my foot is still swolen and in a lot of pain. I took my 1st 15 mg Meloxicam last evening and was wondering how long it takes to take effect. I'm taking meloxicam 7.5 mg and I have no refills. I'm having problems with night pain and wanted to take Aleve PM. I took the last Meloxicam about 12 hours ago. I take 15 mg of meloxicam daily for degenerative arthritis. I also have been prescribed 20 mg of prednisone for gout. Hi I have this plantar fasciatiis pain last year adtetban incident. Had 2 steroids injections last year and it recover but pain reoccursi in 5 months later. .
