How Glutaphos Effective

My boyfriend having a brain surgery last November 2011 and it was a successful surgery. Now, he is planning to take his Engineering Professional Examination and his taking Glutaphos I just wanna ask if this is effective brain enhancer and has no side effect to a person with brain surgery. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs.
