I had no periods for the last 2 months so my doctor prescribed gynovit syrup. What is the use of it? Can it be taken along with metformin tablets also? ## From what I could gather, Grovit syrup is simply a multivitamin supplement for use in treating vitamin deficiency states as well as increased vitamin demands for pregnancy, lactation, growing children, and even severe infections. The Active ingredients in Grovit syrup are: Vitamin A (palmitate) + Vitamin B complex + Vitamin C + Vitamin D + Vitamin E Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Metformin and Vitamins.
