I have my script for 0.5mg of generic Xanax. The pharmacy I use currently does not have the Greenstone brand, and I have called other big chain pharmacies and also no Greenstone. The other brands I have used seem to have little potency. Does anyone know why the Greenstone is so hard to find? Thank you. ## Simply because it is most expensive, at this time. Whatever generic a pharmacy has in stock at any given time will vary, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. It's how they keep their prices down for uninsured customers. In another month or two, you may find Greenstone in stock everywhere, if they lower their price or other companies raise theirs. Is there anything else I can help with? ## There are many Domestic ...

Greenstone can be ordered by any pharmacy. Some will refuse saying they can not. That Is only because they get kick banks for going through specific pharm companies. Cheaper for them excedra. I know Safeway will order the greenstone. They are a company made by Pfizer. They basically are Pfizer so the quality of those are by far the best. ## Greenstone LLC is based in New Jersey call the company direct I Googled the info. There is a number to call for all your Greenstone pharmaceutical sorry I did not have a pencil handy to foward this info. Good Luck. Get well someone needs your help

1 mg light green s 209 xanax strength is not the same as light blue, why???? ## Hello, Trudy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 1mg of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax. What are the markings on the blue ones you've mentioned? I'm sorry, but I can't answer your question without more details. The FDA classifies this medication as being a benzodiazepine that carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## Don't know right now I don't have them this month I have been taking them since 1998 I started with 0.25 for anxiety and irritable bowels when they give me the different colors the don't help dont know why. ## The li...

i am interested to know where to acquire triazolam 0.25mg greenstone here in the Philippines.. ## Sorry, as I myself have found, Greenstone products are available purely in the USA. There is not a single online source for them. They are made by Pfizer/Upjohn, and the G 3718 tablet you seek is IDENTICAL to the Upjohn 17 Halcion brand, which is not difficult to find. I source mine from South Africa, much cheaper than most countries. A box of 100 should cost you around US $120. Very reasonable. Their alprazolam, coded G 3721 (1mg) & 3722 (2mg long white bars) are likewise identical to Upjohn 90 & 94 tablets. The advantage of Greenstone is in the price paid in the USA. There are places where the original Halcion and Xanax brands of the very highest quality are a lot less expensive t...

I'm being told by many pharmacies over the last couple of months, that they can not get the Greenstone Gabapentin. That Greenstone isn't accepting orders for it, with no reason why. Why is that? What's the problem? ## Hi Laurie, One theory is that the DEA could be involved with Greenstone's manufacturing process, limiting what they produce or ship out. But if the pharmacy is unable to give you a precise answer, this sounds to me like something that should be taken up with the manufacturer directly. Looking on their website it doesn't say that anything is wrong with Gabapentin, so I think it's safe to assume that it should be back at some point. Greenstone's customer service hotline is toll-free and can be reached at: 1-800-447-3360 I hope this helps!

What is the expiration date of these pills? ## From what I could gather, the shelf-life of Gabapentin (Neurontin) is about 2-3 years according to the link below: medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/17095#SHELF_LIFE I've also read studies saying that the expiration date of most pills is actually 10-15 years, but I would think that potency may be lost in that time frame. I hope this helps!

I took the mylan brand 0.5mg xanax for many years from cvs and had no problems. about a year or so ago cvs switched to Greenstone and I Liked them. In fact I think they worked better for me then the mylan brand. Then I called in one of my refills and cvs had switched again to Dava brand. I took as perscribed and started having panic attacks. I didn't understand so I doubled up on my med and they started to work. Im just wondering if anyone has had this experience with Dava brand Xanax the are a big oval shape with a S-500 marking if I remember corectly on the 0.5mg tablets. I found Greenstone's at a old family drug store and thats all they sell regardless of price the pharmacist said, because thats what all his xanax takers want is Greenstone. ## The .5mg Dava are yellow footbal...

I am a 69 year old female looking for a pharmacy in or near Hamburg, NY that carries Greenstone generics and specifically hydrocortisone. My reason for requesting this better generic was that I have recently been diagnosed with Addison's Primary, after suffering and dealing with adverse effects since at least 2005 for two days, then again in 2012 for 9 days until getting what we now know was an incorrect diagnosis of SIADH. I researched the hydrocortisone generic Greenstone was far better to use. I could use some assistance in finding just who carries this brand of generic. Thank you. ## Hello, Diane! How are you? I'm sorry, but unfortunately, there is no listing of what pharmacy carries the product from any given manufacture, because such information is very dynamic, and may ch...

I have successfully taken.mederoxyprogesterone for years but some of them have sodium laurel sulfate, I can't take them. I need greenstone 2.5 mg. Where can I find it? ## Hello Linda, Sorry to say but almost nobody will be able to answer this question for you. The reason is that most pharmacies refuse to put out the information regarding which brands/generics that they carry to avoid incentivizing thieves from targeting their store. I know it's inconvenient for people who need to take specific generics but realistically it's a necessary precaution to avoid having prescription drugs stolen, sold and abused. Other users have claimed that they found luck calling around in some areas while others had to go to the pharmacies in person in order to get this information. Many also c...

I have been taking alprazolam 0.5 in the a.m. for several years made by Mylan. It has bern discontinued by the manufacturer. Costco is now carrying Greenstone. Will I notice a difference in the manufacturer? I suffer from PTSD since my son was killed. I take regular alprazolam 0.5 at bedtime by Dava... seems to be fine. My dr. tells me not to change manufacturer on generics. Is greenstone a reputable company? ## That is a very strange thing your Doctor told you about not changing Generic brands, That is like saying only drink Royal Crown Cola, not Pepsi or Coke. A pharmacy will change brands if their supplier finds a better price. Just yesterday I picked up Mylan 1 mg Xanax at Rite Aid. If your Doctor is truly worried for you and just wants to prescribe the name brand version of Xanax t...

Everyone who has a problem with Generic medications, which is what we are stuck with under the current "you must be covered by government cheap crap." You can get any store to get your preferred generic by writing to their corporate office and telling them you'll switch ALL your medications to another pharmacy. I found Rite Aid has no problem whatsoever at making me happy with their service of getting me my suited generic. Beware once a generic can be available you get the original (which is almost always best) only until the generic companies have their grip. Until the public takes a stand, all medications will be gunk scrapped off the bottom of the barrel. Go to the main company of the medication, and see if THEY in fact make their own generic. That is your best generic. F...

How do I find the inactive ingredients in Greenstone Sertraline? How can I find a generic that has the same inactive ingredients? I am very sensitive to chemicals. ## Hi Sue, If you have a specific pill imprint, it could be possible to identify the inactive ingredients of that tablet. So I have been on Greenstone Alprazolam for over 10 years through CVS. I always take them as prescribed. Never abused them. They always worked quickly and brought me down from any attack.. Out of the blue 3 months ago CVS doesn't carry them anymore. I tried the new brand they had (Dava), and they were awful!. Did nothing for my Panic Disorder. So Greenstone told me to go to a Ma and Pa Pharmacy, so I did and they ordered them. I was elated. So I get them and took it right away. I noticed they were chalky and were only slightly bitter and it took 45 mins to get any feeling. And the feeling I got was just a little sleepy and nothing else.. That is not how they usually are. Normally they would kick in less than 20 mins and would take that hot feeling I get when I panic away and replace ...

My longtime pharmacy stopped carrying the Greenstone generic of Xanax. How could I find another local pharmacy that does carry them? ## Hello, Lori! How are you? I'm sorry, but the only thing you can really do is ask at the various pharmacies, but you'll need to go in person, with your prescription in hand. If you just call, they have no way of knowing if you're a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, so they won't give you an accurate answer. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## Your doctor can write you the proper paper work for a pharmacy to order that specific medications you need and the pharmacy should comply. ## The Doctor can't specify wh...

After researching online and my own experience, camber sertraline works as well as greenstone. I could only take greenstone, now I’m on brand name Zoloft. Walgreens has a card from Pfizer that saves me hundreds of dollars a month. After a year I’ll need to get my insurance and doctor to approve a tier reduction for the price of the brand name. ## Hello J, I have some bittersweet news to deliver. It turns out that Greenstone was the generic brand owned by Pfizer, which is the company that manufactuers the brand name Zoloft. On the bright side the pills are nearly identical only differing in color dye inactive ingredients. From what I read it was no longer in the companies best interest to continue manufacturing the generic and decided to only manufacture the brand name. If yo...

I heard greenstone was the best generic xanax. everytime I get them they work differently and actually they almost feel like a placebo. maybe at some point greenstone we're good but I don't even believe might have any app Rosalyn in them whatsoever I'm switching. Do not I repeat do not put up with this you are paying for these you're putting these drugs in your body and there is nothing wrong with taking xanax if you need it and you are prescribed by your doctor and that's exactly what you should get. I have been taking Greenstone Alprazolam .25 for a long time. Once they gave me Dava and that was awful. Now they gave me Caraco, and I am afraid to start it. I know Greenstone is Classified as A. How is Caraco classified? ## I'm not sure what you're referring to as the classifications. When they are manufactured to the standards as set by the FDA, all generics are considered equal and to be of top quality, so there is no rating system that's used for them. There can be some slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so a little change could be what's causing your problem, but your body will usually adjust in a week or so, since the different isn't significant. Or you could have a problem with some of the inactive ingredients, because they do cause i...

I have been getting my alprazolam substituted with Sandoz 2 mg tabs which do zi[/nada/nothing and Aurobindo 1 mg ER tabs which are also useless. I've had a bad experience with Sandoz and oxazepam before. CVS says Greenstone is discontinued but my independent pharmacy says they are being produced but I have to pay $35 for the Rx because my Part D drug insurance "only reimburses them a few dollars". CVS initially promised me Teva (2mg) and Greenstone 1 mg ER. After getting Sandoz and Aurobindo, they say that their stock varies from day to day and whatever the supplier sends to them that day is what I get. How screwed up is that? ## That is the way it always has worked. You can't order specific generic brands from the pharmacy, and they can't promise you anything. Do yo...
