Does dicyclomine by Actavis Pharmaceuticals (generic Bentyl) 20 mg tablets contain gluten or gluten in inert ingredients? It was prescribed to me for the pain & spasms from EATING gluten. I have Celiac's Disease, but many times doctors have prescribed for for my Celiac Disease pain drugs that CONTAIN GLUTEN !! ## Hello, Tutu! How are you? What are the markings on it? My oxycodone-acetaminophen 10-325 is made by AMNEAL PHARMAC. This a different manufacturer than I had previously. I can't take them, even though severe pain (deteriorating spine, several autoimmune diseases, etc, and I break them into small pieces...they "wire me up", feel like I'm chewing the paint off the wall, and if I take more than 1/4 of one pill, even early in the day, I can't sleep, sometimes for 36 hrs or longer. I take Ambien 10 mg for sleep, I may dose for an hour, two if lucky. Is this normal for this drug? Is this a good manufacturer? I follow the celiac diet and after taking this barfed all day :) thx ## Without knowing the manufacturer of the tablets in question, I cannot tell you what the inactive ingredients are in it. Can you please post back with that information or the imprint from the tablets, so I can look it up? APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen, but Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain medication and it can cause nausea and vomiting as side effects, so it is hard to say why you might have gotten sick. My daughter has a staph infection and was prescribed sulfa trimeth. My daughter is very allergic to dairy. Can she take this med? Does it have dairy in it? ## Hi Jr, Sulfameth + Tmp does not contain any dairy products. At most, these types of medications can sometimes have corn starch, gluten, or other binders/fillers that provoke an allergic reaction. If you happen to know the imprint on this particular pill I may be able to look up the exact inactive ingredients, that way you can be rest assured of everything your daughter's actually consuming. Does Lisinopril manufactured by Lupin have gluten in it? I have had stomach pain, chest pain, and headaches with this pill (20 mg). ## It doesn't appear to have gluten in it. I can tell you based on personal experience that most medications do not contain any gluten; but caution is always advised for those with an intolerance. Further administration precautions note the following: "Orthovisc Precautions: Before using hyaluronate, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to bird proteins, feathers, or egg products; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients (such as latex found in the rubber syringe cap of some brands), which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Is Ranbaxy Rx atenolol gluten free ## is the medication atenolol gluten free ## It is not listed on any of the gluten free websites as being safe and gluten free, so while I am not sure about what all ingredients would be considered to be derived from gluten, or have gluten in them, I would have to suggest that it might be safest for you to stick with one from a manufacturer that is known to be gluten free. There is an Atenolol on the market made by Novapharm that is listed as being completely gluten free, so you should check to see if your pharmacy can get that one in for you. Would you happen to know this information based on your prescription bottle?
