After my hurting back in a head on car accident, it's getting worse as I age. I am a senior citizen, out of shape now...I was going to a PC Dr in a local clinic for years, was getting fed up with their tactics, mistakes, cancelled appts at last minute, etc. TWICE I went into WITHDRAWAL for vicodin whilst waiting for script as such renewed every month when my Doctor was out of town on family emergency... Since last Thursday i'm now going to a local hospital's Outpatient center. They gave me a ton of paperwork, referrals for getting MRI, papers I signed, MRI referral, etc and in between such was my new prescription for 3x's per day 5/325 hydrocodone/acetaminophen, aka vicodin. I got a script for vicodin 3605 on side has v the other side the numbers. But on half the v is upside down. So they are not exactly the same. V facing up numbers up on back and v facing down number's up. Doesnt this sound weird like maybe they are fakes??? ## The direction of the V really doesn't mean anything, it just depends on how the pills landed in the imprint press. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. They have been removed from the market, so no one can fill it for you. The best thing to do would be to see your doctor about getting a replacement prescription. For many years I've sufferd from Fibro pain and for many years I've taken the generic Watson, which was just fine Now every couple of months the pharmacy changes the generic brand and I've had an incredibly rough time and suffered through the different brands, some are just crap, the pharmacist recommends ti ask the doc to write, Vicodin brand only on the script, this makes perfect sense, but says my insurance may not cover this, Is this truley the best route and dose anyone have suggestion s on the best Watson's or others? Just a FYI for anyone out there that's looking to buy vicodin/percs from a US pharmacy. I just spent $280 for 30 vicodin from a so called pharmacy named ordermeds. They sent me 3 blister packs of unmarked pills, which made me so sick. Of course they don't say u are getting blister packs, they are a fake/scam!! ## Hey frustrated, sorry to hear about your experience with ordermeds... But if you're going that route without a valid script, the nature of it is illegal, meaning that they aren't necessarily obligated as a business to stand by their word. I wouldn't recommend trusting any discreet web-based pharmacies for that reason, unless they are verified to be VIPPS-accredited by The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

Has this happened to anyone else. I live in Florida, I take Vicodin 10/325. My Rhumatologist prescribes it as follows: take 1 tablet by mouth every 4 to 6 hours or 2 every six hours as needed. Max use for 30 days supply. It was filled on Aug. 30, 2013. I took my new prescription to the pharmacy on Sept. 25 knowing most likely I would have to wait a couple more days to fill. Instead I'm told their were new forms the dea was requiring be completed for high frequency customers. Another pharmacist told me it had to do with the amout of Tylenol in the pill, and was given another answer from someone else. My script has changed under the new law. It's now Vicodin with 325 acetaminophen. I've noticed that this new pill is giving me a headache. Only the acetaminophen strength has changed. It is generic lorcet 10-650. Just picked up a script. About the same as lortab 10, norco 10. And has less acetaminophen than vicodin. ## No, it doesn't have less Acetaminophen, considering this has one of the highest doses of it that's presently available in these combination medications, so I'm not sure who told you that. The most commonly prescribed doses of this narcotic medication contain 325mgs or 500mgs of Acetaminophen and this one has 650 mg. There is only one that's higher than this and it has 750mgs in it. So I recently moved here to South Florida (Cutler Bay to be exact) from Nevada and I have been taking 60 10 mg Vicodin a month for 7 years with no need for increase for pain from endometriosis. I am looking for a Dr in Tampa. I already have a current MRI. My problem is that I need a Dr that will prescribe me Roxy 30's even though I do not have a prescription history of them in the past year. price paid at walmart pharmacy for 30 hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-300 mg tabs $61.08!!! ## @bushel, From your wording I can't begin to tell if you are excited or angry at the notion of paying $61.08 for 30 tabs. Is this how much a script of 30 generic Vicodin tabs usually goes for at your local pharmacy? There are a number of pharmacy price checkers that can be found on Google if you ever feel the need to compare prices from different pharmacies in your general area. Just wondering if this was a typo..7.5/500? All I can find is 7.5/650 and 750. I know it is generic Vicodin but am worried about the directions saying take 1 or 2 when the previous script was for 5-500 and only was directed as take 1... I do not want to take more than before...5-500 was more than enough,.. Need to know if I should break in half..... ## Can you provide the imprint from the tablets? Including all letters, numbers, and/or logos? Then I can double check the dosage for you and the normal dose taken. It is made in that dosage, however, if your doctor did not mention changing your dosage, I would recommend calling their office to check, or checking with your pharmacist. Been going to Nashville TN clinic for ten years. Past 5 years on a two week take home code with 0 problems. Didn't want to go to monthly. Got a dry socket and dentist gave me vicodin 5's. She knew I was on the methadone but realized after ten years the pain management aspect is non existent. Filled scripts, got antibiotics too, and took one each.
