David was mentioning the binders/fillers that are used in the oxycodone. I believe that the binders/fillers are why I am having such a problem with any oxycodone manufactured by KVK Tech. I have gotten bladder infections (no history of this problem), head aches, no pain relief (Major issue, cause what is a pain pill for?), attitude issues that are unreal. I was taking oxycodone 30mg, then the 20mgs, and now I am on oxycodone 10mg for break through pain. I have had problems with all 3 of the oxycodone whenever they are KVK Tech. Changed pharmacies repeatedly and have listed KVK Tech products as "I am allergic". My buddy says his oxycotin is a little pink pill with the letter G & 162 under it. nothing on the other side. Had my Dr change my ER med to Oxymorphone. Went to Walgreens and they told me NO generic. Talked to the other Pharmacist, he looked it up and BAM, they had them from actavis!! Saved me 80.00!!!! So, the Pharmacist dont even know they have them ## I'm glad you were able to find it and save so much money! But you do have to go a little easy on the pharmacist that wasn't aware, especially at a large store like Walgreens. He has a lot of duties and may not always be able to keep up with all the new drug release information. football shape letter m on one side ## First, I would like to state that there is no generic or Oxycontin in the United States. It was banned several years ago, due to abuse an is only manufactured by Purdue Pharma in the name brand. However, there is generic products available for both Roxicodone, the regular release formula and OxyIR, the instant release. As to the type you have and the dosage, I cannot tell you that, without more specifics on the imprint. There are several that have an M marking, without knowing if it is in a box or a plain M and any additional numbers on the tablet, I cannot give you any precise information. Never seen this pill and cannot find it any where on the internet. pinkish-mauve in color with a single line marking it in half,alittle smaller and thinner than an 80 mg oxycontin ## I cannot tell you anything about it unless you provide the markings from the tablet, that is what identifies it, not the size and color. Greetings! Just returned from my regular pharmacy where I have been getting my O.C. 80's for years. Today my pharmacist told me that there is now a generic for my Oxy. She told me that because of the cost difference my insurance co. is demanding that I get the generic but the store won't have the generic in stock fot two to three days. I've used Rhodes, Amneal & now just starting Actavis. (Oxycodone 10/325) The Rhodes seemed to work well. The Amneal seemed to barely work at all. The verdict is still out on the Actavis. I'd welcome any suggestions on generics of this drug. ## @Steve, Actavis took over Watson brand and ruined the product in comparison as stated by so many long term Watson customers. As a previous Watson lover I can say that Actavis is hit and miss at times. The 5/325 oxy are huge round hard pills that do not work at all. The softer 7.5/325 oxy are effective but not as good as the old Watson by any means. I have just started to use the 10/325 oxy and I honestly think the 7.5s worked better.
