Gen Teal

my friend gave me a teal colored capsule with no imprints and said it was a Roxy ## Based on my research Roxicodone's dosage forms do not come in teal blue capsules or any capsule for that matter. However there is a conspiracy going around throughout various forums on Google, stating that its generic equivalent (oxycodone) comes in an unmarked blue capsule. This would only be the case if the pill was either foreign or made in a home lab and sold on the street; since the FDA requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint to identify them by. Personally, I wouldn't trust an unmarked pill. It could literally be anything. my pharmacy changed medicine on me... again...on my 'generic' carbamazepine . called them up and i mentioned to the girl that i have been prescribed the yellow 'carbs' with NC*200 on it for 2-3 years...now i am getting a capsule i took when i was younger and it was called 'tegretol'...it is half teal and gray capsule with what i can make out S433 .she said it is a 200 mg ER capsule carbamazepine . AND what i take are not tegretol at all...i am so confused...this is a nation-wide pharmacy... ## That is correct, Tegretol is the name brand and the time released ones are actually tablets with a circle and T logo on them. The pill is a capsule and is dark purple on one side and like a light blue or teal on the other. It has a c on the side that is purple and 300 on the side that is teal/blue. The bottle that I found the pill in was filled in october of 2010.The bottle also says that it is cefdinir generic for omnicef but I am unable to find a pill picture that is the exact match for this pill so I am assuming that it is not in the right bottle. It is at my mother inlaws house and she has a bad habit of placing the wrong pills in the wrong container so I am trying to figure out what this pill is and if it is in the proper bottle. What's the difference between the two?? ## Hi Britney, Mylan is a pharmaceutical company that manufactures a lot of generics. So if a medicine says Mylan on it, that simply means that they are the manufacturer, and it is not the name of the med. Usually it would say Mylan and then also have some numbers on it. Does your pill have numbers on it as well? If so please post exactly what your pill says + the shape and color... and then somebody can run a positive ID on it for you. Take care! ## round tablet.
