I'm on a methadone maintenance program and my dose isn't holding me over. Someone told me to take a phenergan and clonidine pill. Also they say u could take klonopin and xanax with it, which I have experience with. If I take the phenergan and clonidine will it make my dose feel stronger? ## Go ahead and keep playing with fire. Don't be a dumba**, that combo will KILL YOU, any benzo with methadone is a deadly combo, it slows your respiratory system. I found my friend DEAD and had to perform cpr. I have allways been told that when getting clean you are best to "treat the systems " rather than the disease.... I am sure there is some truth to this but here is my real question.... If a person has 4 steady years of pain meds (oxys, tabs, percocets,ect) what "formula" is the best one you know of to prepare for detoxification if thats what your planning on doing? I have heard of vitamin packs, and cold meds, and just getting zonked out...I mean what are the best remedys for detoxifying or to get you through that 4-6 days ahead? I was given a GI cocktail of mylanta, lidocaine viscous and dicyclomine at the er. I went in with chest pains feeling really out of it, shortness of breath, had blisters on the roof of my mouth, tired and couldn't remain awake. It could've been due to an allergic reaction to tramadol pain pills which I got last Friday. A chest xray showed ACUTE bronchitis and chest pains. EKG twice was fine. Did it twice Tuesday and nothing came up, but when I drank that GI Cocktail when my throat got numb, it felt like I was suffocating. I could hardly breathe. Is this the DEA affecting pharmacies in Florida, regarding Hydrocodone, Soma and Xanax? ## Pooh, the DEA doesn't say what combination of medications a pharmacist can and can't fill. But, due to the increased number of people that have died of a combination of opiates and Benzodiazepines as well as Soma, many pharmacists are very reluctant to fill that combination. Soma, Benzodiazepines and opiates all have Respitatory Depression as a side effect. A patient drinking alcohol in any amount, raises the risks. Many pharmacists don't feel it is worth taking a chance. There are other meds that can be used that may not be as dangerous in combination.

Had a hip fracture, took hydrocodone and norco for pain from 5/7 to 5/16, took last 325 mg of hydrocodone on Monday 5/17. Is it ok to have a cocktail tonight (Friday 5/20)? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Hello, I'm currently taking Lexapro, Ritalin, & Klonopin. My depression seems to be under control only if I chase it with the RX'd Ritalin. I need something that helps fight fatigue, gives me motivation, (For my ADHD: Ritalin 10 mg as needed). To sum it up, what meds out there are great for my ailments listed above? Please help me.

I have suffered from all over body pains in muscles & joints for over a year. They have me on a cocktail of meds, none of which seem to assist, such as Cynbalta, Lyrica etc. I have also been on Synap-Forte which seems to assist with the pain the best, but now they want to remove it from the market. Where can I find green lizard? ## Hi Kim, From what others have stated, "Green Lizard" is supposedly a compounded prescription containing a mixture of Lidocaine + Maalox + Donnatal. So it sounds like you may just have to speak with your doctor about writing a special prescription for it, provided that he understands your purpose for needing it. Apparently one of its primary uses is for cases of indigestion. NOTE: if it's of any help with your search, I did find that some people also refer to this cocktail as "The Green Goddess" I hope this info helps!

It can cause an aggravation of the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Kind of like making one drink seem like you had 2 and so on. Hi, just wondered if it's safe to take alcohol with "pinamox caps 500mg amoxicillin".. I have been using Ambien for 10 years, but only when I travel, as I have difficulty sleeping in hotel rooms. I am sensitive to many common chemicals and the hotel room cocktail prevents natural sleep. I usualy break a 10mg pill into half or even thirds and that's enough for me. I have never had any grogginess the next day. I was nearly killed in an auto accident in '92. I developed severe fibromyalgia among other problems due to brain damage and temporary coma and paralysis. For years Drs.
